I don't always agree with you but like to hear your take on things. Was looking forward to Welcome to Samdalri for the two main leads who I've liked in other dramas. I really liked all the supporting characters better than the story and characters of the leads who I found annoying and who hardly acted like mature adults in their 30s. A Shop for Killers was phenomenal and I hope they do a second season. Enjoying In Bloom right now.
I agree about the slump in cdramas, I seem to be dropping them one after another, although In Blossom has really hooked me...enjoying that...and like @moodygirl A Shop for Killers was fantastic. I'm waiting for Blood Free because of Ju Ji Hoon.
I agreed about the 19th floor, initially, it was quite good, but it went downhill after 23 episodes until the end. I skipped 23 to 29 episodes and watched the last episode I ended up didn't like it. Parallel World is a better drama. I dropped this one and gave it 5.5. I didn't watch S&F because I am no longer interested in Esther Yu’s acting, and Xu Kai is not good in costume dramas (imo.) I can never complete any of his costume dramas. I think he is better in modern ones.
you cannot compare dramas, they're all different. SAF6 is the only true adaptation and not your typical Chinese drama. All other Chinese Paladin dramas deviated from the gameplay and turned it into a typical Chinese drama, which is fine, but they still called it Sword and Fairy, which is unfair to compare to SAF6. SAF6 should be judged on its own merits. SAF6 is a unique story that tells like a classic and turned into a game mystery. The complex story is masterful storytelling, and the unique ending is brilliant and not boring if you understand it, not sad but full of hope. The overall acting is excellent; in fact, the acting is what holds up the drama since it didn't have the kind of budget recreate so many important scenes in the gameplay (the only criticisms of the game community). This is the only drama adaptation that is recognized by the gaming community, and it exceeded their expectations. SAF6 is the only true Sword and Fairy drama. The other ones are your typical Chinese dramas based on Sword and Fairy but not true to the spirit of Sword and Fairy.
I started SAF 4 and it was entertaining, average but OK XX drama, similar to SAF6 I think so I skip that one. I finished recently Narcos Saints on Netflix, and I didn't know what Kdrama I can watch with a family. WTS was on my WL, your review is a good pushback to start it. I enjoy watching In Bloosom but Burning flames is growing up in one of my favourite XX dramas. Can't wait for the last 12 ep. Thank you🤩

I watched it, but my mother couldn't get time travelling 😂 and TW is a little bit difficult because you have to connect story often. I am just watching short drama Fortune Writer or Zhi Bi short drama and I can't stop. Leading actress from Provoke, I am thrilled how they can make this 10 minutes so brilliant. This actress is 💎

Twinkling Watermelon is a great family kdrama, mystery, time travel, romance, comedy highly recommend it
