The actors and the chemistry, even when they went through their hard times, the great love that they had for one another never strayed and they knew that they would see each other again. This year modern cdramas are so good. I can't believe I rewatch this everywhere I find it. It has topped modern list for me. The dialogue made much more sense than I could have imagined.
I think Xu Kai’s many roles are admirable by other viewers but This time I’m convinced that this role was made for him. It suits his temperament and personality.
Xu Kai’s rl personality is actually goofy and humorous 😂… this is way outta his comfort zone. His role in Arsenal Military Academy and Court Lady is more him

This is one of the best love story drama I've watched. I highly recommend it. Love Xu Kai and seven tang together. I hope they"ll be together again in another drama. ❤🎉
In the end, the universe rewarded their struggle to develop a sincere,total, loving relationship. He again waited for her. And this time around wasted no time in reaching her. She knew, with her smile, that it was him. Again, a truly moving epilogue to their story!

@@MK916Editz I had stopped at episode 17. It was moving very slow, and the leads were barely getting screen time due to the subplots. Hopefully the pace picks up once they start dating.I also got distracted cause I started watching The Double on Netflix which moves much faster haha.

People also liked Ancient Love Poetry and Story of Yanxi Palace… I have not seen them but I’ve watched Royal Feast and Court Lady 😍😍
