We built a bar last year that now lives in our patio. I love it and I want to use it more often, so I'm hosting a cocktail valentine's party! The bar is defiinitely the go to spot. The food will be in the dining area. We'll put two cocktail tables in the living room. Maybe I'll post a video on it later. We don't have a butler for my little apartment, but we do have family! We always create a simple menu that anyone can make, therefore ANYONE can be the bartender (and they get to keep any tips). I want it to be elegant (most guests like beer) so I'm going to buy glasses for beer. As a hostess who doesn't consume alcohol, I definitely make sure to have non alcoholic drinks. Signs, yes! My little foyer has 4 doors! Even I was lost the day we moved in hahaha. Usually our "wow" is our apartment itself, but I like to really decorate so that's the second wow! But for people who come often and are used to those wows, having a "bartender," glasses, and cocktail tables will hopefully be this party's "wow." I will definitely do a second garbage can!

Ahh that sounds amazing and you sound like a wonderful host! Why not make a cocktail with beer?? There's many out there! :)
Great tips - there is another option with invitations: print your own, even if you are not goos at graphics, so many great templates available.
