My daughter when she was two once said she liked something she did 'lasterday night'. She is in her 40's now and we still refer to last evening as lasterday night. Also I love your videos especially when you are sitting in front of the longhorn pic...and the horns seem to be coming off your head. I always laugh at how cute it looks! Only you can pull off horns honey and look beautiful! Thanks for the dinner party advice...it was all spot on!
Haha! In Spanish there's actually a word for that - "anoche", which is like "ayer" (yesterday) + "noche" (night).
Just be careful if you have any mexican guests. It's not great in this culture.

Pinterest is my interior designer
1. Consider the Guest List.
2. Entertainment according to the type of guests you are inviting. Conversation, indoor games, board, movie, makeover etc. It is not only about dinner but the whole evening.
3. Decide Menu. Ask if they have any allergies.
4. Layout. Chic , fun , rock you decide.
5. Ambiance. Candle, flowers, light, temperature. Playlist.
6. Seating arrangement. Casual, floor seating.
7. Plate setting. Make some difference with name cards, beautifully plate setting, chicy brand for disposibles.

This isn't one word but I always say "ugly eat". When my husband isn't home I ugly eat Taco Bell in my bed with my burrito resting on my chest while I dip it into my nacho cheese dip...you guys get it. haha!

Where is the best place to find eucalyptus I love seeing it in your designs. I used the word glassables so much as a kid my grandpa named his stained glass business that. Now I use the word with my kids.

How big are your dinner parties? I usually not up for hosting parties because of the size of our place. its about 700sqft which i think you mention your place is 500sqft but your place looks effortlessly roomy! How do you deal with that on group for about 15- 20 people?

KLongares my brothers friends are really guilty of this, my mum put a photo frame up with a sign in it saying 'Due to life, please leave by 11pm and take your trash with you'. I completely recommend doing something similar and aimed more towards your family than the sign we had which was mostly for 18yr old boys.

Great ideas. Unfortunately, the dinner party has gone the way of the dinosaur due to the proliferation of self-imposed dietary restrictions. If you have allergies, I'll accommodate that of course, or if I know you're vegetarian, I'll make sure you have options, but I'm not catering to 12 different diets.

We don’t wear shoes in our home, is it rude to ask guests to take their shoes off?
I don't think it is, but I would warn them in advance. Because I'm still young, I still manage to get away with mass texting family or house etiquette to friends and family who aren't aware. With my more formal friends and family that might be uncomfortable about something, I call and talk to them in advance to make sure they can feel comfortable.
My fish fry is my dinner party. They only show up, because it's great seafood. I decorate the tables and serve lots of cocktails. No one wants to dress up or eat off china. We are tired, busy and on a budget.
