As a guitar player, at first..no tabs, no notes no scales...then he taught me something; use my freakin' ears, now I can finally hear it and can make sense of what enclosures are. Thank you Q!
Thanks for another great video man. Was searching for ways to teach this subject to one of my students to follow up our class and found your video very good on a pedagogical level... keep it up.
Nicely explained. Zig zag, roll (sweet) nice way of capturing the different directions and approaches of an enclosure. I’ve been playing these for years, but they were never explained to me until I got my masters. The way you explained it gives me a new tool to use when go back and review my explorations of enclosures. You are a great teacher Quamon. We both learned from a master teacher, so I recognize a great teacher when I hear one. Bat would be proud:) I’m proud of you too Bruh. Thanks for the videos, F. Jackson
Is someone can explain to me what Quamon play at 2'52. Please ? I know what is playing but i dont understand the concept or the way he's thinkin over this chord.

I'm just not advanced enough - wish I could read the enclosure notes for the first day or 3.
I don't think I'm grabbing them accurately by ear.
pyannaguy argent I’ll do an updated video.
which note are zig zag and rolled? Thanks
The Zig Zag starts a whole step above the note. The Roll starts a whole step below the note.
JazzWebShed please write note for note what you have done before e. g. 1, 7, 3, 5???? or5, 7, 3, 1???? thank you
Mr. Chadlefkowids have a answer
And....
great video! thank you!
Important to keep the chord tones on the beat as much as possible... in my opinion.
Needs to be notated.
