Hey Jon, why don't you wait with releasing the prisoners you want to convert to Odin until they're adults? That way it's much harder for them to reconvert back to their old religion.
The cooldown penalty for disbanding troops isn’t to do with disbanding them in enemy territory or anything it’s just if you do it anywhere while at war. In peacetime you can disband and raise them at will with no penalty. Also it doesn’t apply to men-at-arms so once you get a good number of regiments going, and if you’re attacking someone who is sufficiently weak, you can instantly transport your entire attacking force from one end of the map to another (as long as there are no hostile armies around). That means you can surgically siege down holdings at will and then instantly move closer to the next target county.

I never got too into grand strategy games when I tried CK2 or EU4 or the like, but something about CK3 really drew me in. Now I'm looking forward to these videos like crazy.
It was actually the CK2 Cornwall series that introduced me to Crusader Kings (as well as Mah-Dry-Bread's CK2 Bohemia playthrough), and when I heard that CK2 was free I made sure to grab it. Sadly, I soon realized that I enjoyed watching the game far more than I enjoyed actually playing it... Although maybe it would be better with more DLC? I've only got Reaper's Due, Old Gods, Way of Life, and Legacy of Rome, so I'm not getting the full experience yet. Anyway, CK3 immediately looks far more compelling, so much so that I almost want to buy it just to see if I enjoy playing it more than I do CK2.
I hate to tell you Jon, but I think the whole thing about this being a cunning political ploy by Ylva with no actual feelings involved is all in your head. Note that "Seduce" and "Romance" are distinct schemes, and that the Honest Ylva has a problem with the former but not the latter...

I don't know if the comments have covered this already, but: A very good way to hoard champions is to marry off all the women in your court matrilineally to whoever wants them. Unlanded dudes aren't that picky, and if you switch your spouse to diplomatic I think that helps to get better marriage candidates. This way you can shop for skills via your courtiers, I marry them off for better counsillors, genes and champions. Also doctors are free if they come as courtiers. Basically, in my house, if you have a pulse you will be married.
Valdemar is such an awesome, baddass unkillable warrior that I want to know more about him. Where did he come from, who where his parents? And what is his backstory? I also really want to know what will happen to Valdemar Jr. I can't wait to see if he will also become an unstoppable warrior and top tier raider like his father :D

I like the idea of the Partition system, but I feel like we need more option to get back our lost territory. What happens now, my siblings get part of my territory, and I immediately go full Intrigue and kill them off until I get it back. Its fun to do, but feels cheap to always do it (plus I don't like killing my dynasty members). I hope Paradox introduces new ways to deal with this mechanic.
