I absolutely love your videos! So useful! I have a Nord Electro 6D, and I don’t think I have all the same program buttons. Wondering if you have upgraded your keyboard and can do those same videos about setting up a pad on a 6? Thanks for your help!!
Really good tutorial. I do much of this already, but the KB hold feature I haven't used yet for a synthpad, only for an arpeggiated/left hand drone part while playing two other parts simultaneously. I have another project where I need this, so thanks for the great tip.
Like the second method. Great idea putting the pad up top. Hadn’t thought of that, really miss my piano bass notes when split with my second instrument down low.
Great job, sir! Can you make a tutorial of doing sustaining pad with second keyboard instead of using split your keyboard in second method? Thanks in advance!
Great content. Thanks for helping out. My question is why would you not put the Drone note on the lower Octave of the keyboard with a split Point covering only that point and below. Put the piano on the other panel over the entire keyboard and now your drone note will change if you choose to go down into that low octave on your piano it will change the pad Drone also.
Great video as usual! I have a question for you, is the frequency knob in the Synth Panel equivalent to the frequency knob in the equalizer? If not, what's the difference? Thank you!
If you use the sostenuto pedal on the Nord triple pedal, you are able to sustain only the pad without it affecting your piano to achieve this droning pad
Hey man, great stuff! Side question: It looks like you're running the Nord right into your Focusrite? Any tips for getting such a clean sound with that? I have issues with running live keys into my Focusrite at times. God bless!
Great job! Thanks! I'm brand new to the Nord Stage 3. Can you direct me to a video that would then show how to save this setting? I have used Mainstage and Sunday Keys and find it super handy to create my specific song patch and then be able to name and save that patch to use again. I'm sure that's possible on the Nord but not sure how. AND...using the arp function to create pulses in specific BPM/s and saving those as songs...Thank you!
Great videos, I appreciate you! I'm trying to set this sustaining drone pad up on my Nord Stage 3. I've turned off the sustain pedal for the synth and turned on the KB Hold button. But for some reason the chords I play in the synth panel only hold for about 10 seconds. I'm at a loss - tried looking in the manual already. Any suggestions?
Thank you! In the synth section, in the Amp Env section, there’s a knob labeled Decay. Make sure that’s set to a long decay…I usually twist all the way to the right which is basically endless. That might not be your problem, but it’s a thought!
you're boosting our church worship massively haha thanks man!
Thanks! 🙏🏻
Thank you very much for taking the time to put these Nord Stage 3 videos together. I appreciate it!
Thanks Kenny!
Perfect! Thank you very much! That's exactly I was looking for! Also very well explained!
Just unpacked my Nord Stage 3 and this is super helpful! Can't wait to use it for worshipping the Lord Jesus! :-)
Love it!! Congrats!
I’ve been seeking this solution for years! Thank you

Thank you so much 💞.... Stay blessed ✊🏻
Thank you Douglas. As always your video are very complete, all the great options.
Thank you. You explain really great. My first language is Spanish, and I understand everything. Thanks ☺️
Thank you so much! God bless you!
I like the dissonance you create on the Em chord running the G and F# together. I find myself doing that a lot, too.
Haha one of my favorite things to do! 😂
@@DSoundman Oops, actually it's on the D chord...

I made this patch on modx ty!
Thank you!

The question now is......how can you do this in the Nord Stage 4??
Yes please
Thanks!!! and blessings!
Great..!! Good job very nice...
Hello. Are you able to walk me through doing this with a stage 2? Thanks!
That was great ..
Thanks for video! Is it possible to do something similar on the Piano 5?
Thanks! I’m not sure if it is possible in the Piano 5. If there’s a KB Hold function, then it probably would be possible!

Awesome 👍 could u make more videos
Thanks! What would you like to see videos of?

Can I play the root, 5th and octave instead of a single not key for my drone sound?
Can you do this on the Nord EX?
Can you do this with the electro 6d
can this be done on the NE6D?
how do i find out what grades my drone pad needs?
Can this be done on the Nord Piano 5?
Wonderful! Now I just need to figure out where I’m gonna get $5300 to buy a Nord Stage 3! 🫣

@@DSoundman Many thanks! I'll give it a shot. Appreciate the quick reply as well :)
That totally fixed the issue btw, just in time for practice. Thanks so much!
Is this possible on the Yamaha montage ?
hey there. Can you email this template ? this is awesome!
Super
I have the Stage 4 coming in. Does this apply to it too? Or is it different?
Similar concept, but it will be a little different. I plan to make a video tutorial doing this same thing in the NS4, so keep your eyes out for that!
Can the same be done on the Stage 2?
awesome video!!!!! subscribe immediately
Can I do the same thing with the 6D?
What’s the name of the song you played ?
10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord) by Matt Redman!
