"People dont care how many games you win, they just remmeber moments. Make decks that make moments!"
Been my mantra for quite some time. Awesome idea to do a retrospective look at your decks and moments they have had ❤

Literally Mob Rule for the win. That was epic.

"I'd rather lose a good game than win a bad one"
This is an amazing philosophy. My favorite commander is Ilharg at the moment because of just how much damage he can put out suddenly in one turn! It doesn't win all that much because you will immediately become the archenemy as soon as you slap down a Breaker of Armies every combat step, but it makes everyone sweat, and they feel really, really good about narrowly surviving the pig.

I love this video, thanks for sharing! My favorite moment in recent memory was when I was playing my Inalla wizards deck and cast Haunting Voyage. I brought back a ton of wizards from the graveyard, including Disciple of Bolas. Now I had 3 'copy etb' effects on the board, and then with the Disciple I won 7 coin flips off Mirror March, and ended up being forced to draw myself to death. It was hilarious and awesome.

Loved this video. My favorite 2 recent games ended as follows:
    Game 1 Gishath Dinos deck:
Guy had around 12 4/4 flyers and like 80 Life and was going to kill me the next turn. I decide to swing all out with my dinos any way to see how big of a dino I could make with my Quartzwood Crasher. After combat damage I had 2 triggers, the Crasher was going to make a 46/46 and my Gishath to reveal from my library. I decided to do the Gishath first, and hit a Verdant Sun's Avatar. With the rest of the reveals and the 46/46 token I made, I gained 68 life from the Avatar. With such a big swing in life totals both me and my opponent thought I was going to win out of nowhere, but he still had a turn left. He top decked a Strixhaven Stadium, and with his 12 flyers he was able to make me loose the game. It was a great couple of turns where the game swung back and forth unexpectedly.
    Game 2 LotR Elves Deck:
I cast Devastation Tide, Returning all nonland permanents to their owner's hand. Then I cast Realm Seekers, it was a 50/50 because of all the cards just returned. I passed the turn and people start rebuilding. At the end of my last opponents turn I cast Windswift Slice doing 50 damage to a 6/6, making 54 1/1 Elves. On my turn cast an Overwhelming Stampede, giving all my creatures +50/+50. I ended up attacking with 2854 damage, which I love because its such an absurdly high amount with out it being infinite.

Recently my opponent casually made infinite life and 20+ infinitely big saprolings with spike feeder and archangel of thune. He forced me to just go crazy. Squandered resources, world shaper, some recursion and hedron crab allowed me to sac my lands, bring them back, recur the world shaper, do it again. I milled him for 300+ and won. I love these moments where you're forced like this, because in any other situation I would have never even thought about going full send like that. I'll never forget how funny it was scrying the last card in my deck with Viscera seer and bottom it

My favourite recent memory was playing Braids, Conjurer Adept against a Thantis, the Warweaver deck. I got an early Show and Tell to put Meishin, the Mind Cage into play so that all of the forced combat Thantis caused was little more than slapfighting, and then dumped giant things on the table, eventually drawing my entire deck thanks to a Consecrated Sphinx... and then having to figure out how I could turn my board into a win... since the Mind Cage was still giving my stuff -50/-0. Eventually someone offed my Platinum Angel that was protecting me from decking out, so I decided to go out by intentionally activating a card draw on someone else's turn to go out on my own terms. Not a win, but crazy fun playing all these 6+ CMC cards that you rarely see otherwise. And since it was a group hug style deck, everyone else had fun putting their big stuff down early thanks to Braids.

Whims of the fates was cast a large six player pod. I made a beautiful speech about putting all the cards in one pile and the odds of one in three. Everyone was moved and convinced that go big or go home was the best choice. Five players lost nothing and I gathered all my permanents very politely moved them to the graveyard.

My favourite moment overall was with my vehicle deck. It was down to me and another player, I had a hugely better board better but was top decking for a while. The other guy was on the defense but had some cards in hand. His turn came, he drew a draw spell and luckily chained into a bunch of board wipes leaving me with nothing but a Demolition Stomper and about 5 lands while he got a huge number of small tokens but nothing to give em haste. He ended his turn, life totals were 6 - 12 I think, anyways I had to find a way to crew my machine or it would be over. I knew I had drawn most of my creatures over the course of the game already and my chances weren't great. I drew my card and it was Born to Drive. It was the only time ever the far I used it's channel ability winning me the game with it's Pilots. The table exploded especially since they all had seen the card a bunch of times, but nobody knew about the Channel ability since they neither had it ever seen used :D

The leap of faith you mentioned with Titania reminded me of one I took in one of my favorite games with my Borborygmos Enraged deck. I had a Living Twister, Surly Badgersaur, and Cavalier of Flame out and I had just cast my commander. As I moved to the end step one of my opponents attempted to Chaos Warp Bobo and I had a decent amount of lands in hand but not enough to do lethal. I still unloaded them all in response and made a bunch of treasures and then realized I could use those treasures to bounce my lands with Living Twister's ability, pitch them to deal more damage, and make more treasures. I bounced all of my lands and used the final 2 to kill my Cavalier and blast the whole table for lethal. All in response to a Chaos Warp. It was so ridiculous and I loved it.

I hear you on Living Death. I had so much fun with it in my Kresh deck back in the day of, what, 10-12 years ago at this point? ...I really should find another deck for it one of these days.

    Moments
    - Evil Coils
Sitting with an actually powerful 5-color board at my local hobby shop, I outlasted everyone with Go-Shintai, then survived someone's boardwipe with the help of a well-timed Boros Charm. Knowing my shrines would be winning me the game eventually, the opposition scooped.
    - Vampiric Brutality
At a buddy's apartment, my Licia (Sanguine Tribune) hit like an ice cream truck filled with dynamite, and Vito happened to be on my field. I caused at least over 120 or 140 points of life loss total, and I think I even had some Orzhov mage lady who caused life loss whenever I gain life. I took out two players in one turn.

My favourite game moment was with my favourite deck, Feather the Redeemed involving a petty little one-cent card I've seen no-one else play. I was on the defensive during a long game where my opponents always had big threats that could kill me quicker than I could them. I had Zada, and a protection spell, always, but my hand was slowly being countered, and my creatures needed to chump. After the leader at the table knocked out the other two he turned his attention to me; then it happened: Felidar Guardian, Saheeli Rai, combat, swing for millions. I had two mana open. Enough for Valor Made Real "Target creatire can block any number of creatures until end of turn" targeting Feather, and then giving her indestructible. I survived, and moved to my turn, and pumped my board as high as I could to swing for lethal, and won in style.

I have a Tibalt, Cosmic Imposter deck that doesn't really have much in the way of win-cons (apart from stumbling upon enough mana for a Torment of Hailfire). My whole game plan is to beat you with your own cards. I've stolen enough landfall cards to make a bunch of scute swarms, I've suited up a creature for Voltron. But my favorite moment was when I was playing against my old group and one of them had had enough of my nonsense. He was targeting me hard. Little did he know that I had 3 red counter spells and just kept surviving against all odds. Nothing quite like dropping your third red counterspell and having the table erupt in laughter and cheers lol

I've got loads of these moments with my Mishra, Eminent One deck. One that immediately comes to mind is when I was creating so many 4/4 Mishra's Warform copies of Spine of Ish Sah every turn that I'd ran out of nonland permanents to destroy, so I started eating into the lands. One guy said it was the worst game he'd ever played.
A lower sodium memory was the time I cloned an opponent's Terror of the Peaks with Machine God's Effigy and I copied Mishra's trigger a bunch of times every combat, dealing tons of damage.

Love that you used both epic wins and huge blow outs as examples of your favorite moments. The goal of the game is to have fun, and while that’s in a Venn diagram with winning, it’s not a complete circle.
That said the Mob Rule play still makes me cackle, 100/10

One of my favorite games came recently with my new Shelob deck. One of the other players was playing "Urza, Chief Artificer" from brother's war... well... Shelob fought Urza, Food Urza kept making me construct after construct that were getting +1/+1 for all my food tokens I'd gotten with my spiders, soon I was attacking with 17/17 constructs with menace at the table...

A card synergy i love that would work for your Thalise deck since you already have Cathar's Crusade, Cauldron of Souls ( if its not already in it) giving all your creatures persist, even with no ways to untap the cauldron, you still can have a free death and ressurection of EVERY one of your creatures each turn, and all of the sweet death triggers and ETBs that go with them.

One of my best moments was thanks to you, my friends and I challenged each other to build a deck that was around 20$ to 30$ to play, I went a little over budget initially so I tried playing against my friends who had upgraded precon. We were about to loose to my friend but within one turn I hit him for 35 or so and killed him. Sure I sacrificed most of my creatures and lands but the fact I ended up winning after was oh so worth it

I was playing Zimone and Dina (not the infinite combo deck), and after slowly getting lands into play the whole game. I cast Boundless Realms to get the rest of my basics out. Then, I used Early Harvest to untap all my lands, and I cast a very large Exsanguinate.

  • @Zeraphim2613

One of my favorite moments was with my aptly named "Forced Hug" deck run by The Council of Four. (Super underrated card btw).
The deck is based around all available cards that give an additional draw at the beginning of your turn until to speed into decking yourself. Well one game, I was able to pillowfort up enough to finally get the dream team combo cards out; Forced Fruition and Dream Halls 😂. Not to mention, I had Sphere of Safety, rhystic study, AND smothering tithe out as well. I basically actived the rocket boosters on that game and loaded me up with counterspells and "aikido effects" so that everyone raced to their doom.
Essentially, Forced fruiton makes you draw seven cards whenever an opponent casts a spell and dream halls let's you discard a card that shares a color with the spell to cast it instead of paying mana. The game quickly ended after that with me miscalculating decking myself by one card on the last man standing.
    I love drawing cards hahaha

For my 4 decks the best moments would be:
1)Killing with Tatyova Commander dmg after jokingly attacking one player a couple of times in early game
2)Casting Fling on Juri, Master of the Revue in response to removal and almost killing Archenemy
    3) Shabraz giving random humans, other players control, flying
    4) Hitting some one with unblockable rouge with Trepanation blade and two copies of Anowon Ruin thief on the table. Going really deep for that land

I think my best one was when I was still starting commander and had my Uril deck as my only deck built. Swung with an 11/11 Uril into final opponent and he had no blockers but he had like 100 life (dang life gain decks :D ) I was down to like 10.... just popped a boros charm, gave him double strike =x commander dmg win. That one and same deck, same card.... someone was playing an angry baby deck (child of alara).... they tried to armageddon, i popped the boros charm, i was the only one with lands =x i won. Boros charm, vastly underrated and should be in any deck that can run it.
And I run tormod's in EVERY deck. Just because if someone tries to do the mass recur or recur something really nasty, or like yours, creatures that rely on creatures in graveyard (though I also run elixir of life in most decks as well =x ).

I am a Timmy, so many of my cherished moments involve massive creatures smacking face. But I think my all time favorite moment involved my Toggo and Thrasios deck against a buddy's Ukkima and Cazur deck. I managed to get him down to 1 life and I threw a rock for the win, but he sacrificed Ukkima in response to gain life. So in response to that, I played an explosion with x equaling 1. I payed 5 mana for 1 damage and it won me the game.

One of my favorite moments was when I stole my friends' Naru Meha + Ghostly flicker combo by casting Dual Caster Mage with a Harmonic Prodigy, Dockside and Professional Facebreaker on board. enabling me to generate infinite mana, and a big momentarily access to my deck in order to stop him and win.
Truly an awesome response to a mono blue deck from a sneaky good mono red deck.

I do like the alt wins for stolen moments. My Sefris deck runs Atemsis, mainly as a draw and discard engine, but I have KO'd an opponent once with it. Or the unexpected Commander damage wins. I one-shotted someone with my Muldrotha with a few +1/+1 counters and the flip side of Hadana's climb to double the power and make Muldrotha fly.

My favorite was when I was waiting for my turn to unveil the win-con in my "Group Hug" deck, and then the Orvar player went for a game winning combo and because of all the cards I've been giving them throughout the game they had, no joke, 13 counterspells in hand, and all the mana in the world for them, because Kynaios and Tiro lets everyone play a land during my end step

I had a fantastic moment with my Alesha deck recently. I had Tombstone Stairwell and Cathar's Crusade in play and my opponent decided it would be a good idea to mill me for 60. My upkeep came around and I had 21 23/23 zombies and an unblockable 30/30 commander able to swing back at him.

We were in a game where one player wiped the board then put a bunch of creatures down. He swung at everyone and I angels graced to go to one life. Start my turn play a sanguine bond and pass with no blockers. He then goes crazy again and swings with 80 power plus double strike. So I drop my stunning reversal and let it through. Went to -79 then back to 1 and direct 79 life sanguine bond damage to him and won the game

So one of my favorite edh moments was actually me being trashed on in a hillarious way. So i was playing boros angels and got out an avacyn angel of hope. Well first my friend played his bonds of morality to remove her indestructible and killed her with a murder. So after a few turns i managed to remove the bonds and reanimated my avacyn, only for him to loop a demon of dark schemes enough times to kill her again and then he reanimted her for himself
