Extracting Honey with a Honey Press

Extracting Honey from honey comb using our 14 litre fruit / honey press..
This honey was fairly thick and took about 6 hours to drain through the press and we got about 9 litres from 8 frames which was about 14 litres of comb/ honey

Hi, thanks for feed back. I got mine on eBay, I’ve used it a bit for honey pressing and fruit pressing for making cider. If I was just doing honey, I’d get a spinner, if I was just doing fruit I’d get a larger press ( mine is 14 litres). But this is a good compromise to do both jobs...
