My heart warmed listening to your kids play in the background and then listening to you and your camera lady just be yourselves made this video really refreshing. Felt like I was at home with friends. ❤
Thanks for letting me know what I can do with this honey blob i have had sitting in my countertop for weeks 😂
What do you know, it's true you learn something new every day. You learn to live by living to learn. Thank you Hollie this was pretty cool to watch. And thank you Marvin Mock too.
The easiest way to separate honey from wax is for the bee keeper to set the honey/wax mixture out for the bees to clean up. It’s much easier to render then.
You still have to boil it regardless.
Tried it last year my bees missed alot. Ill set it back out for them again. We just extracted our single hive today
You are fantastic Hollie GOD BLESS YOU WITH EVERYTHING HE WANTS YOU TO DO
Thank you for sharing your knowledge, God Bless!
I've Never seen how bee's wax could become clean. Thanks for showing.. May is no moe lawn month. To save the bee's. But I feel many have done this without knowing.
That was so interesting. My Son is a Bee keeper. I'm going to share for him to see.
Please do! thank you!!

Ohh wow I bet a coffee and breakfast with holly candle would smell good!! Maple scent and coffee with honey and some other wonderful scents!!
i actually LOVE that idea!!! good thinking!
I love the smell of beeswax candles. That was a fascinating tutorial Hollie.
I truly enjoy these types of videos. They are very heartwarming ❤
In Germany we usa a Strumpfsocke to filter all the fine particles out. works really well.
Exactly what I've been looking for. Thank you!!
Good job ladies! Thank you for the help. We are into our second year with two hives and wanted to know how to do this. Bless you.
Sweeeeettt lol... lots of being patient going on there, right??

When you have it ready for the second rendering place the wax inside a leg of the pantyhose. Filters out the aluminum gum. Beekeeping term! 13:31

Awesome!! Very educational
Hey guys, I really enjoyed this video. Hollie you and Chris are a great team; both so creative. Would love to see you suceed in your ventures. God bless your family. Shalom
That was amazing to watch
That was really neat to see what it was and what it turned in to.
So very cool. Can’t imagine the smell. Waiting for the candle part next. When I was growing up my great grandparents had bee hives and my great grandma would send us something like 2-3 gallons of honey to last us a year. Oh how I wish she would have made candles with the wax they’d get. Now my 1st son works a major commercial honey farm. He brings me beeswax all the time because they only sell the honey. He also brings us the comb. I need to ask him for more goodies lol so then I can do what you just taught all of us
thats so awesome!! fills my heart with joy
Hollie, you have a nice way of teaching.
Thank you! 😃
Wow..a bunch of work! Very interesting Hollie
Can't wait for you to make the beeswax candles.
Amazing video, I learned something new today. You are so talented. Stay blessed ♥️🙏

Like I’ve said before
Y’all are very hard workers!!! Love it !
God continue to bless your family !!!🙏🏽
Thank you! You too!
That is very interesting! Thanks for sharing Hollie!
wow, this was awesome, I learned something new that I will remember....the multiple times straining with the panty hose, yup, you know the deal Holly, works awesome.....my great grand mother used "curtain cloth" to strain....best strainer ever. It was that gauzy, smooth, polyester material, used to make those white, almost see through flowing curtains back in the day, not the cotton stuff, it was used washed and re-used. I find it in thrift stores now.
well now i will be on the lookout for that cloth lol
Very Interesting , bet that smell Wonderful the jars are so cute .
That little bee jar at the end is so cute lol i want one
Wow. Amazing Holly. Love the beeswax.

Thank you so much!
Hollie you are amazing!
You reminded me of my Dad , whom was such a plant specialist. You are a Candle Specialist. 🕯
Wow, thank you!
Cool...
Would straining it through an old cotton shirt over the sifter help clean the wax?
im not sure if a cotton shirt would work... but im thinking Cheese cloth would work well. let me know if the tshirt idea works. im thinking it wouldnt strain through fast enough to keep it liquid tho... hmmm
Good job🐝🐝🐝🐝🌼🌼🌼🐝🐝🐝🐝🌻🌻🌻🐝🐝🐝
Love this and you look so beautiful!❤️🦔
you're crazy woman 😂😂
Hollie pattie hose works better
Slum gum is what your getting out of it.
If you laddle it off the second time. No need for 3rd time. I love working with bees and wax.
is the water with honey usable/edible? or not because its been sitting in the plastic bags?
Awesome process. I have never seen it done. Thank you for sharing the process and I are excited for tomorrow.👍🤗🙏.
You are so welcome!
Thanks Hollie for showing us how to do that,I can’t wait to try that 🤗❤️
Have fun!
I totally enjoyed watching the process of rendering beeswax :) So gorgeous. Can't wait to see the candles.!
Thanks so much!
Amazing
That’s awesome
At what temperature did you melt the wax?
low heat. slowly. you never want to burn or boil your wax
Wow. Awesome video. I really love you all and what you do to entertain us. You are real people who do what needs to be done for your family. And you do it in a fun way. Ellion will have wonderful memories!

Awsome girl
Thats fascinating , never thought you would get something so pretty from that mess.
Hi honey hope all is well. What is absolutely amazing what you've just done the dark beeswax. Love to you all di xxxx
Thank you so much 😊
Can you make something from the wastewater?
i have made fire starters with the nasty wax. it actually works great for incinerating things lol
You and Chris should open little stand with your candles and his wood work. You could make some $$$
That was very interesting. I've never seen anything like this before, how did you learn it? This was a very cool video!!!!
Glad you enjoyed it :)
A lot more yellow than I thought it would BEE! Also a larger block than expected. Is the honey still in the wax or what. Bees showed up?
the honey scent remains in the wax, but the actual "syrup" is not. so the wax will burn with a sweet honey scent
Could you chew it like the paraffin was candies you had as a kid and get the honey taste?
It would be cool if u had some bee molds for the candles.
that would bee adorable ;)
How much will the candle be inside the jar you showed?
not exactly sure yet....
Can't wait for the 2nd half...hurry,hurry..
👍👍✌
have you ever made lip balm?
i have not, but it's definitely something that would be cool to get into!
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
The leftover bee parts can be fed to chickens. I've seen a beekeeper after cleaning out hives, scooped up the dead bees and put in the feed. I hope you have the joy of raising chicks and chickens.
Those busy bees work themself literally to death .
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
You sat on it for a year? That's one way of melting it, I guess. 😁
I wonder what the difference between that wax and the bees wax we bought to put pool tables together?? They look the same but it has no smell to it. Jw lol
i think the "store bought" beeswax is so processed that it loses its natural scent? not really sure!
@@theChrisAndHoLLieShow makes sense i guess lol. Thanks!! And thanks for the wax melting process. Kinda cool
🙆🙆🙆👏👏👏👏🙏🤗😘💕🇦🇷
I wish someone would send me some, I would so love to play with it!!!
Wow Hollie, who knew you could take the bags of horribleness and make it into beautiful wax!
Your talents are very much wasted, you need to find a little shop space in your next home so people can come and watch you or do candle making courses! Shame I live in the U.K.! I’d come to your shop/course in a heartbeat! The only reason I haven’t bought a candle from you is that the postage is prohibitive!
😀
Oh no! wow! i didnt know that!
I’m no expert but heard that heating the honey beyond a certain temperature can hurt the potential value of its enzymes, minerals, antioxidant properties, on and on. There are other ways to extract the honey before processing the wax. Just sayin.
Tudo muito suja!!!!
