Have never rented a car in Las Vegas. Can get around by walking, taking a bus, a shuttle, or taxi. Getting to your hotel from the airport is interesting. Keep Jorge's Limo Service in mind. This is a very informative video. When my wife and I went we often took a ride share with Gray Line Bus Company. Already subscribed.

Since I go to Las Vegas frequently, I usually just take one of the city busses. I am a senior so I get half off. The wait can be long though.

Taxis are the best on the way to hotel, because ride shares are getting treated like a stepchild by the hotels and casinos. Different drop off points some not even in the same building as check-in lobby. The Golden Nugget ride share spot is across the street.
Wife and I always just take a cab.......as she just wants to get to the hotel as fast as possible! Good episode.

We did a limo from the airport on my first ever Vegas trip (there were 9 of us), it was fun and definitely something worth doing as a one off especially if there is a group of you.
First couple of trips it was the Limo,you have to do it at least one time. Now we just hop in a Taxi

Great information! I used to take that crummy Bell transportation bus. Not only does it take longer practically beats you to death on the way there. I found it is better to take a cab. Then renting a car from a casino is so much easier than trying to get it at the airport

Sunday greetings . For me personally Uber and Lyft aren’t worth the extra hassle in Vegas . The taxis at the airport and at the hotels are so much more convenient. I’m already spending $20 bucks plus I’m cocktails so don’t mind the sometimes extra for the taxis . Many times the taxis are actually cheaper anyway when Uber or Lyft has the dreaded surge pricing. The limo service is great …only drawback is its justsuch a quick ride to the strip it’s almost not worth it . Love it when the hotel includes the limo with your suite like the Aria sky suites which I’m staying in next month. You guys looked like you had a lot fun in the limo van . Very fun video . I enjoyed it 😎😎😎

I got married in Vegas 1998 took a Limo from The Airport …..The Limo Van is cool
I love taking a limo. Especially downtown.
One quick tip- to keep travel pricing low, take Ubers to and from the airport, take taxis on the strip.
I wouldn't use taxis on the strip. The bus is much cheaper if it is too far to walk.
I drive from CA, but I found this video interesting… and thankful I don't have to deal with all those lines.
Great video, we are flying out on Thursday! We use Kaptyn when we get a limo, have never had an issue with them. But we will use Jorge next year when we are bringing a group with us. Thanks

Great airport transfer info, the same usually holds true if you come in on Greyhound, especially if you're coming from a distance like Cal or AZ, and don't have a car or Don't want to pay parking fees, which is getting more popular for the resorts.

I remember my first trip to Vegas we took a shuttle and it took forever to get to our hotel. Said never again. Since then I've been using Taxis and Rideshares. I have a friend that lives out there now, might use him 😂😂😂

Before taxis had fixed rates I would only take Lyft. But since I don’t run the risk of a taxi driver trying to long haul me I tend to take taxis from the airport to hotel. The ride share is a bit of a pain and take too long.

Last year I paid $65 USD from the airport to Circa. (Cab) That seemed ridiculously high.
$45-50 to Fremont Street isn't uncommon, but $65 does seem really high...
We paid just under that back in Feb. Going again next week, debating on it again only for the convenience. Traveling with my 82 yr old dad, we need fast and easy for him.

Going in style is the ONLY way to go. Been to Vegas 100's of times and I ALWAYS get a Limo from and to the Airport. It is SOOOO worth the extra money ( and I would have just gambled away the money for the round trip fee anyway.) lol. And no I'm not rich, just an average IBEW Electrician. : ))

It’s good to hear the shuttle bus service is still there. That’s the method I usually used. I did taxi one time and got to my hotel (Circus Circus) by way of Freemont Street. And, one time, I walked from the airport to my hotel.
The only times I had rented a car, twice, was for a single day each time to do some sightseeing outside of Vegas.
I love coming to Vegas one of the good thing is when I land at the airport the casino picks me up for free and brings me back for free
Why not schedule Uber or Lyft to save time and money?
Last couple times, I've booked through Bell Limo without problem. Not sure if I would use the limo service you used since I'm always traveling solo

Renting a car is the best way to go if you want to explore all the cool outdoors in and around Las Vegas.

@@dondenis1500 that's great and all, but the reason Vegas is so busy on the weekends is that most of us don't have the option to always vacation Sunday through Thursday!
Single person: Best bet is Shuttle...Never had to wait long, and usually only 1 or 2 stops before you arrive. You can ask at Shuttle Ticket Counter how many stops before your Hotel. MGM is the first stop....It almost adjoins the Airport. Limo for a 5 minute trip?
We took the limo to Crockfords at Resorts World, so it was a lot more than a 5 minute trip. But if you’re going to MGM Grand a shuttle costs about as much per person as an Uber costs for however many riders you can fit in the vehicle. Either way, I’d rather ride in the backseat of a nice car than ride a shuttle.

I was in las vegas april 24th to June 2nd. My mistake was being tired arriving at 7:05 pm with 4 bags. I had used uber/ lyft area but Mt bags with wheels was still a hassle. So I took taxi. Big mistake he threw my luggage in his trunk like he was mad? Well next day opening my laptop, yes broken! I paid him cash didn't remember the taxi service. My advice if you take a taxi handle your own luggage while boarding and getting dropped off. My tablet in the same bag was perfectly fine? Hope this helps others?

Wow, I paid 36.00 plus tip to Ceasars last year from the Airport! Your sign says 27.00, gas surcharge must be 9.00,😮
To my knowledge the fuel surcharge has been $3-5 the entire time. You might have been overcharged. 😩

Honestly we can’t say specifically what they charge right now. In the past you could add on the “arrival experience” to your Aria reservation and it was something like $100 to $150 but that’s been a few years. They probably still do something similar. Thanks for watching!
I took an Uber to the MGM Grand it was $28 one way
It can vary considerably depending on traffic and events. It’s very rare that an Uber to the MGM Grand would be more than a cab.

Curious what you tipped Jorge for the ride?
My last limo ride there, I tipped $20 each way. (I figure they are expecting $10-$40, depending on the number of extra stops and the bag count ??)
From experience, a limo typically runs about $120-$140 (more if you want extra stops or a strip cruise) - though I do not like them unless I get the door seat. (I hate having to slide down the side seats in them....my back and knees are getting to bad to do that)
That Sprinter looked like the way to go. I will add Jorge to my contacts for future trips....

Does Jmc use suburbans Yukons Escalades and Lincoln navigators ? Or only actual limousines and similar because I’m looking just for suv transportation

Been doing Vegas twice yearly since 1970. I prefer a cab over the shuttle and uber.
I just take the CX bus to the strip or downtown. It is only a dollar for me (with Medicare card), and it is fast and comfortable. Otherwise I just, yes, walk.

@@ShowMeVegas There is even a TH-cam video that shows you exactly how to do it. As long as you're traveling light, it is not far at all as long as you're going to some place close like the MGM Grand.
