@@passmidnight2880 I would say its preference based, but for a really light rod, I would look at the tuned up custom website and go to there custom open water rods, they make the best light weight rods for more of your finesse stuff and I have a 7 foot apex I believe and I love it, so I would give that a look, my next best option would be st.croix they have some good ones it all depends on on your willingness to spend
