I know this is Jefe's channel, and thank you for all your exuberance and great attitude. I wanted to address Kaulin and his outerwear. Before you mentioned it, I noticed you were not wearing camo. What you wearing was what me and my dad wore. When I was a kid and then into my twenties. What you were wearing blended in better than all the camo. The only thing you two might consider is getting face mask. To hide those bright shiny faces, and those large smiles.😀😀
I agree totally. Back in the late fiftys and early sixtys there was no camo. We(Dad) and his budie used to hunt up north of you guys. Bear river refuge and some times Farmington bay. Used airboats to get out to sink boxes buried in the marshes.
Great shooting Jefe and Kaulin. I used to duck hunt in the late 60s to the early 80s. I used a 16-gauge double barrel shotgun. I still have that gun. Fun shooting is Teal ducks as they are fast fliers.
Jeffe great video. Next time you get some ducks, try duck poppers. Small chunk of duck wrapped in bacon along with cream cheese and a jalapeño. Best way to eat duck.
@@jeremymiller4714 The migration in southern Indiana gets worse every year. I would love to make the trip to the great salt lake someday, maybe after I retire 😊😊
on your trailer design, use corner posts and detach the tent platform, so you can raise it for camping, lower it to the top of whatever crap you are hauling on the trailer for travel. With the metal workers you are related to, you should have some dudes with some good ideas.
Jefe, great video! I am from Alberta Canada and limits for ducks and Canada geese are 8 daily/24 possession but for Snow geese it is 50 daily/no limit possession. We hunt ducks and geese over farmers fields from various types of blinds and when the hunting is good there can be like thousands of birds in the air. Nothing but fun hunting. Anyways, thanks for the video.
Looks like you guys had fun thanks for sharing. You guys did a lot of shooting. Forgot the introduced the dog worked the hardest, no introduction, come on man🐕
When you get around to re-building the trailer, think about "camper jacks to raise and lower your overhead, to bring it down behind a solid vee front wall.
Hot springs and geysers are geologic cousins so not a bad guess. Despite the mods you want for your trailer you are already the outdoor host with the most. The best setup in the world would be nothing without you. Loving your style.
Thanks for this video, It brought me back to my Dad's Chocolate Labarador retrievers and the year's we spent training and hunting ducks, like from my 12 th year til I was 22ish. ❤
Another great video Jefe! Shooting skeet is an excellent way to tune up for duck hunting. Glad you cooked it all for the MORR crew. Hope you saved some for Kaulin. Thanks for taking us along on another adventure!👍
When I was young, we had an in-ground pool and in the spring when the ducks were returning and the pool was still closed with water in the pool cover, some ducks would land in that water and hang around for a while. The drakes are handsome birds.
A side raspberry sauce goes good with the duck or the goose meat. Goose livers are amazingly delicious and difficult to cook, It's like cooking butter.😮
for rebuilding the trailer. I think you could do a 3 min section or so on MOR and the rest on this channel so you get some subs. If Matt is oke with that. maybe even a multi part video depending on how much you are changing.
Mr Jeff ayy. I grind (ground) my duck up with pork or beef fat (add serranos or jalapeños for more flavor) and make fried steaks out of them or duck burgers. Try it next year my good sir.
No asparagus? 😁 I've had duck a couple of times and I thought it was good but not great. It was probably 20-25 years ago so I can't recall if it was cooked like chicken (well done, overdone?). My guess is it was probably overdone. On a side note, when I was in high school, one of my buddies got me to go duck hunting with him. He did what I would call something a bit more primitive - instead of a blind or a duck boat, we'd wear chest high waders and sit in down in the cattails. We're in South Florida so really not too much danger of hypothermia. We were more concerned with cottonmouths deciding we looked like breakfast. I went a couple of times but never got one.
Great video Jefe! There is one problem tho. To transport harvested ducks legally, you need to keep the head or one wing fully feathered and intact AND still connected to the meat/carcass. This is for DNR/wildlife enforcement to be able to identify which kind of duck it is. You can only separate the meat from these identifiers when you are at the “final location” of the duck meat.
I am not one of those people that can't tolerate people hunting but at the same time I don't hunt myself but that's just me. I know that as a person that eats meat in order to do so an animal has to die and it is part of the natural order of they way it is. I know if I had to to survive I could hunt and take a game animal but it's just not something I want to do. For the longest time I did not even like to fish and process them to eat but I can do that now it's been a while but that I can do. I just don't condemn people that do hunt or like hunting. It's just part of the cycle of life.
Those ducks were not *Harvested* , they were **KILLED** with brutal and gleeful efficiency. And you know what? It's the ducks own fault for being so danged **TASTY!** 🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆
Jefe you cant just hunt and fish and eat great food. Everyone's going to want to retire and we need workers, maybe an occasional fake working hard video like dirty jobs video so people wont see how good retirement is!!
Lot's of fun
You couldn't wipe the smile off Kalin's face at all. Great to see the gang together sharing a meal.
That dog was so happy to go get them ducks what a awesome video and a well trained dog
Top dog!

Colin's ear to ear smile the whole time said the whole experience!!!
Peanut wanna try some, sit.
Jake wanna try some, sit 😂
I really enjoy your videos. Thanks for talking us along.
Waterfowling is super addicting, especially once you drop some Canada geese.
I so glad you made your own channel. Always a great time.
Great shooting Jefe and Kaulin. I used to duck hunt in the late 60s to the early 80s. I used a 16-gauge double barrel shotgun. I still have that gun. Fun shooting is Teal ducks as they are fast fliers.

Jeffe, the only thing that would make this better is if you would talk a little about the guns you are using. Great videos. 👍
Plan on going duck hunting for my first time this next year and I'm stoked. This video was fun and motivating
Always liked you in Matt’s videos. Your channel is quickly becoming a favorite. Keep up the good work 👍
Jefe’s Adventures is the Best. Thank you Jefe
Jefe...this was one great video outing...hunting,cooking and comradery...loving the content especially the hunting...thx
Great video! I have been duck hunting in southern Indiana over 30 years. I would love to hunt with you guys.
If you ever get the chance hunt the Great Salt Lake is an experience you'll never forget I'm an avid duck hunter and I've hunted for over 30 years

Great Duck hunting Jefe and Kaulin. 🤙😎
Crystal Geyser, discovered in 1869, but it wasn't a geyser until they drilled it in 1935. Your mineral buildup is travertine (limestone).
Drinking half a gallon of chocolate milk before duck hunting seems like a dangerous option.
Annie Oakley is a hoot, good way to get your rounds in with a large group. Good job on the chow line action. Looked awesome.

Jefe, This is an excellent video starting with the clay pigeon skeet shooting competition.

Dang, why am I always watching your videos on an empty stomach!

Green River native living in Hurricane now. Fun video for me!
Also, I remember riding my scooter around while my dad welded the pipe over the hole to keep kids out.

Ah, the oft spotted Marble Mallard. Not to be confused with Deciduous Deer, Bush Bears, Tree Trout, Brush Bunnies, Grass Geese, or Rock Raccoon.
Glad to hear you make a camping list now.. 😂
That's insane, I've camped at that exact spot on a couple road trips from Idaho to Colorado
Next time you cook your ducks on that Blackstone use duck fat it comes in a nice spray can you’ll love it
Or just leave the skin on!
Next year you should really try hunting on the Great Salt Lake is an experience you will never forget
Nice Jefe🤠🤠
It might be a dumb question but since you’re using steel shot could you use one of those magnetic wands that carpenters used looking for nails.
You know that's a good idea
Duck hunting in Utah?! ive seen it all now! yall start shooting early too or at least it looked early on camera... good job, keep up the cool videos!
Shot my first duck when I was 12 I had to swim across the river with the edges where frozen I got my duck that was the fastest I ever swam great fun
When I was older we got a golden retriever best bird dog ever she would give you a dirty look if you missed miss you suesy dog
😂 "Did you watch a video? Yeah!"
Mr Jeff ayy. I grind (ground) my duck up with pork or beef fat (add serranos or jalapeños for more flavor) and make fried steaks out of them or duck burgers. Try it next year my good sir.
Duck sausage!
Yes. duck sausage, want some? We'll duck on down and get you some
Hey Jefe, as a fellow veteran, we should set up a Utah veterans hunting group and get things passed by the state to help out, etc
2:35 That looks like a Crystal Geyser.
Good work team
Everything on the grill but mushrooms lol
No asparagus? 😁

When is Jefe going to publish his cookbook ??
Collen may not of had camo but he was the only one that blended in color wise.
Great video!!
Wait, Rudy and Zack are supposed to be in Johnson Valley building a race Jeep.
Susie slayer. Nice work.
get some wind guards for that Blackstone.
Tons of pigeons. 😮
You should have brought Max....
Maybe not? 😅

You need a metal detector, to find and clear all the bb's
Bless you Jefe for all you do, Love your Vlog;s,
But when was the last time you had your Cholesterol check. just sayin.
Oh it is way high lol
Those first shots seemed a little, dark, like before sunrise.
Shooting time starts 30 minutes before sunrise for waterfowl. Cameras don’t pick up that early light well.
You know what they say about duck hunting.
Quack it and rack it.
Great stuff here, Sir Jefe!
👍🏽👍🏽
My brother made a trailer similar but he made it telescopic so he can drop it down lower when diving
Also leave a little skin on that’s where the fat is
I know there are, “wood ducks,” first I have ever seen, “rock ducks.”
