This has been one of my favorite gospel hymnal since I was a boy. I remember going to my father's side of the Baptist church & they would sing this song every 4th Sunday in August; Homecoming month and tears would just flow from my 👁️👁️ as I would sit with my family. God is a worthy God, don't take your hands off me Jesus!
My dad was a preacher and when i was a boy he loved to hear me sing this song. I would end up in the military. Got a few black belts. Thought i was a big man, but i wasn't. I would sing this song to my dad, for the last time, in the hospital as he died of covid. I didn't get to see him die, the hospital staff only let one person in at a time and my mom wanted to be there. you do such a wonderful job singing this, surely the presence of the Lord is in your church. Thanks for the song, it brought memories back.
