    For Question 5 : We need to distribute 83 chocolates to 30 students such that minimum people get 2 or more than 2 chocolates. So, we will start by distributing one chocolate to each of them.
    83-30 = 53 chocolates left.
    Now, to minimise people who get 2 or more than chocolates, we need to distribute maximum chocolates to minimum number of people. Hence, we will distribute 4 more chocolates to 53/4 = 13 people . Now, only 1 chocolate is left which we will have to give to anyone having 1 chocolate since we can't give more than 5 chocolates. Hence, the number of people now left with minimum 2 chocolates is 13+1 = 14.
    ANSWER: 14
    I have also solved 6 & 7, the answers to 6 & 7 are 15 and 22 respectively. Let me know if anyone getting same answer.

  • @Webnove
    @Webnove 22 วันที่ผ่านมา

    In Q2, the quesn asked the maximum who scored 90% above in 3 subjects,so why can't the answer be 38 as in class 10...29 students scored more than 90% so we will give 1 choco. to each 29 students, which gives 77 by subtracting 106 choco from 29. Further we have to give 2 more choco. to the maximum which results in dividing 77/2 which gives 38 and this is maximum which is absolutely more than 35.
    And, in quesn 4 the same way class 7 should have the maximum of 24 not 23. Please check and reply and correct me if I'm wrong.

    For those who think ans is 33 for question 2
    The answer is 35. Here's the explanation: There are 40 students and 106 seats for those who score more than 90%. By dividing 106 by 3, the sir is essentially saying that 35 students will achieve the required marks, which fills 105 seats. The remaining 5 students must have scored less than 90% in three subjects. However, according to your answer, 33 students will score 90% in three subjects, leaving 7 seats for 7 students. We can distribute these seats to 2 students, and the remaining 5 students simply did not score more than 90% in 3 subjects. I hope this clarifies your doubt.

    • @saurabhdas374
      @saurabhdas374 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The question says that at least 1 student has scored more than 90% or he/she should get atleast 1 chocolate. Therefore, for the answer 35, we were left with 1 choclate for 5 students which is wrong. the correct should be 33 as remaining 7 students will get 7 chocolate.

    Hi sir, I am having a doubt
    As per your previous explanation video of chocolate distribution concept, The total student is 40, No. of Chocolates(Subjects) are 106. Now, from 106, 40 is distributed to all students once. Hence 106-40 gives 66, Since its exactly 3 subjects, and Exactly one distribution is found, now we need to find remaining exactly 2 i.e. 66/2 that gives, 33 why cant be it be an answer?

    • @pankajjoshi2382
      @pankajjoshi2382 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      After distributing 1 chocolate to each of 29 students we are left with 77. So again if we give 2 more chocolates to each of 29 students, 29*2= 58 has to be subtracted from 77. 77-58= 19. So here we find that we can give 3 chocolates to more than 29 students because still 19 is left with us and already first 29 students are saturated with 3 each. 19/3= 6. Adding 6 and 29= 35

      Yeah, exactly! 33x3 = 99 and remaining 7 chocolates to the remaining 7 diff people. But in sir's case 35x3 = 105, so for remaining 5 people you have only 1 chocolate which isn't possible.

    Your method for 2nd and 3rd won't work if all the "chocolates" are in 1 column and rest are 0. In that case you will be doing row total divided by 3 or 4 when the actual answer will be 0 because no student has scored marks above 90 in more than 1 subject. How do you resolve this?

      @kumarumang9234 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AnkurSingh-bk2gq i guess 20 would be answer. If one think logically as if 22 would be cover as per yours which is exceeding the total no i.e. 84 (22*4=88).
      If one chocolate is distributed among 23 first. Then only 61 left, only 20 people would get the rest 3 chocolates. (61/3=20). So, 20 *4 =80 that satisfy the condition. Now 3 chocolates already left on the hand at first distribution ( 23-20=3). Again, 80+3=83 chocolates distributed and the rest left 1 chocolate can be distributed among rest 3 people.
      Henceforth, 20 people would get maximum of 4 chocolates.
