As soon as I saw the result, I immediately wanted to know what happened in the solves that made the average insane. Yeah this explains it lol Congrats to Max and nice video!
yeah, definitely seems like the meta in the future is obl and full pbl. which is an insane jump of alg knowlege compared to just a couple years ago to be competitive.
Thanks for making this video!!! And congrats on your results at the comp too 🙂
Btw I love watching this and seeing you explain my solutions when it was you who I learned all these algs from in the first place 🙂
@@MaxSiauwCubing the celebration was too good
What method do u use

- Cube Shape parity
- OBL
- PBL
OBL PBL is the way!!!!!
Very cool to see you finally showing and talking about OBL :)
3:49 this is exactly what I do for opp parity. Patrick Ponce taught it in a video of his.
I think a sub-10 square-1 solve is the most impressive out of all WCA events. It just looks so hard and awkward.
I have 2 of them 9.09 and 9.47 after about a month of square 1 and an mgc square 1 helped
as long as you practice for a few months with a decent squan it’s not too bad
Yeah totally more impressive than sub 1 minute 4BLD or more than 60 cubes MBLD
So sub 10 secs on square 1 is harder tha sub 10 secs on 7x7?
Do you even practice Squan?
This was insane seeing in person too! Thanks for making this recon vid 👍
No problem!!
Thanks for this, and congratulations on your also amazing results! :)
Thanks!

When you said max on the title l thought you meant Max park and I was really confused for a moment 😂
I don’t have, know to solve or use a squan, yet still love these breakdwns.
Good job!
Sounds like the building sound in the lego starwars games

Angstrom MGC Square-1
I think its an Angstrom MGC. Just a sneaking suspicion
