The original had the factory Fujitsu~Ten 5-band Eq with a teeny little 42mm Sub-woofer under the dash. Thing was a trip. The driver seat side bolsters have never been offered that I'm aware of another rice rocket. The front discs had a habit of warping every 500 miles. requiring replacement or turning. IF you drove japanese, even in California you went to the toyota dealer or a scrap yard.
I owned an 84, an 85 and an 86 and miss those cars dearly. My dad still has an 85 that we bought in 87 that has been sitting for years that I always wanted to do a 7M-GTE (Al la Reg Riemer build) but the 2JZ looks like it came with it! I LOVE the Boyd’s 17" wheels and was one of the things that make your car stand out. Nice build!

WOW, I'm in love.. I had an 85 when i was 17. Bought it in 87. Traded it in for a brand new 88 turbo targa. . When i was 18.. Still long for my 85. Hoping to find one in excellent shape with low klm's..
