UPDATE: The $8.99 Lunch Price of my previous video of Kirin Buffet has gone up, it is $10.99 at the time of this video and this is no longer the CHEAPEST BUFFET in VEGAS, I have found the NEW Cheapest Buffet in all of Las Vegas and the video will be published June 27th 2023. Danny - fellow Asian guy here who also loves Chinese-American style beef and broccoli. I once cooked it for some of my friends from China to introduce them to Americanized Chinese food (there is no equivalent dish in China) and they liked it, although one of my friends said the brown sauce was a bit too sweet
You surprisingly made me laugh many times. Not sure if you know you are naturally humorous which makes watching more enjoyable.

Good analysis
Getting a tour of the Kitchen will show how good a restaurant is. If you can't get a tour of the kitchen, just go to their restroom. If is dirty, then the kitchen and food prep are most likely the same. Trust me.
Just the other day I thought of a restaurant idea where the name of the place was "nice restrooms" and it will feature the most awesome restroom!

Reminds me of the kind of place that Eddie brought Clark to after he lost all his money in Vegas Vacation. That flounder fish did not look like flounder in the least bit. I think I’d be hard pressed to eat there and definitely only on a day where the following day I have nothing planned and can stay in my hotel room recovering lol.

yeah Id like to see more on Lake Las Vegas, I stayed out at Montelago a few times, I know it seemed to hit hard times and was closed for 6-8-10+ years.... sounds like its coming back to life.... and close to Hoover damn... Ill be seeing both this Nov/Dec when I come back out.
For $11.00 you can’t go wrong. I have paid a lot more at other buffets and got a lot less bang for my buck.

In April 2022 Golden Corral Buffet in Henderson is $10.89 for lunch and for seniors $9.99 with drink between 2-4 pm for age 60+

Ohhhhh...this Buffet has changed Names like 5 times now! I used to go eat there when it had the first 2 names and it was delicious. But then I heard that the Health Dept. had shut them down? Since then, I've been skeptical to try it out again!

In Cantonese, we pronounce the green bundle with rice a little differently. More like "jone" instead...not with a "D" sound. Thank you for the video, but I prefer just one good veggie plate with a bit or rice.

Those are not pronounce as 董 but 糉 (pronounce as 總）, the other ones are not beignets but you can called it Chinese donuts, in Cantonese we called 沙翁
Wow! Incredibly good deal. I would get my moneys worth just by eating those grapes. A bowl of those grapes cost about $8 here in northern Canada. Thank you for this great video.😊

What flavor was the green jello: sour apple or lime? I love lime!!! But not a fan of green apple.
The only problem with Lake Las Vegas is if you're like me in visiting Vegas without a vehicle there is no way to get to Lake Las Vegas without an Uber or taxi. Which is kind of dumb because the bus literally stopped away from the entrance to Lake Las Vegas I don't know why they just don't extended the extra to my house and make it convenient for carless people like myself to get there
thats why the bus have a bicycle rack in the front!
It doesn't matter if I go to the cheapest buffet in the world, or the most expensive, there had better be Jello.

I think I would spend a bit more and go to a more upscale buffet. Still, this looks like decent offerings at a very reasonable price.
Can’t beat it for the price
For $10.99 Lunch it looked mostly eatable except for Pork Jerky. Maybe if the chef had cut back on the amount prepared for each dish it might have stayed fresher. All Buffets fight the same battle keeping food fresh if there is not a high turnover on items. Less people eating means food stays out longer.

Danny - This buffet closed down a few months ago which is a GOOD thing because it had really gotten bad.The food was rather unappetizing and they have always had problems with health code violations no matter who owns it or what name they call it by.The good news is that they are doing some major renovations on this place and when they are ready to reopen it will be as a Buffet Asia restaurant and I'm sure it will be much better than Kirin was,even if it's more expensive.I am not sure if the new restaurant will replace the Buffet Asia which is currently at Flamingo and Eastern or if that one will continue to remain open.I hope you do a review on the new buffet when they open up,which should be in the next month or so.My favorite Asian buffet is the Krazy buffet on west Sahara.I know you've reviewed them but I haven't seen that video yet.In a bit of bad news,I just found out that my favorite non buffet Asian restaurant has closed.That would be the Great Wall Chinese restaurant on Charleston in the same mall as the Omelet house.Ihave lived in Las Vegas for 40 years and I only found out about this place a couple of years ago.They had some of the best New York style Chinese food I ever found in this city.They were open for 60 years and I think they were a well kept secret.The prices were affordable,the portions were huge and the food was delicious.I used to live right next to Mott St in New York and this was about the
best place I've ever found out here.Well,I guess all good things must come to and end.Keep up the good work with your reviews and maybe some day I'll get together with you on one of your meals when you visit here if that would work for you.

My wife and I went to Kirin buffet last January because of Danny's review. We bused down Flamingo from Horseshoe to do our laundry at the laundromat across the street. The food was decent that day. We had eaten at Krazy buffet on Sahara a few days before (also thanks to Danny's review) and enjoyed it, but Kirin was close in quality when we went. Anyway, we're going back in a month for 10 nights and will be doing laundry again. I saw on Google maps that this place was closed. Maybe it'll be re-opened in time for us to be there.
Its been awhile since I've been to LV, but checking recently I see the C-Bs have skyrocketed. Were is this one located?

things always change, but that was the cheapest one I found as of that date
I had really bad luck I went there and their ice cream machine was broken so no ice cream but it was nothing special

Lake Las Vegas has no fresh water sports the water in lake is regular water company recycled water sometimes in early morning the water smells very unpleasant .
Had a Newspaper Motor Route in 2017 at the Resort.
No Casino has reopened would be nice if Dotty's tried to lease the empty space.
I plan to try Kirin Buffet as a local never tried it live about 15 minutes from it at 10.99 for lunch it's a fair price.

It’s far from high quality Chinese food but for 8.95 you can’t complain that’s extremely cheap in NY a pint of fried rice will cost you 8.95
