Frankenstein's wife is Elizabeth, right? Victor's monstrous creation had his own bride. I don't know how romantic is it when your mad scientist husband tells you metaphorically how he will strike you back to life like a lightning? Especially if this act involves the wife dressing up into some mummy costume and the husband tampering some science kit as a prop. At least I hope this is metaphorical and Victor isn't zapping Elizabeth back to life again and again after she has passed on. Obviously we're dealing with a seriously weird couple here with the grave robbing and other stuff going on. Maybe she has a heart condition and Victor uses defibrillator to bring her life-again and again... Nothing wrong with that, if it works. Finnish mythology has similar revival story. Only in that one it's about mother's love instead of scientific curiosity and ambition and instead of a lightning, it's nectar from heaven fetched by a bee that brings the stitched up son back to life. You might be familiar with the story already since you have reacted to the Amorphis' song 'The Bee': "Stories of Finnish Art - Akseli Gallen-Kallela: Lemminkäinen's Mother, 1897".
