I think this video is a bit more focused on deep learning rather than the machine learning because i have seen several road maps and every road map start with vectors then comes to matrix and linear algebra and neural network also work in deep learning But i think the way of implemening and learning while utilizing tools like chat gpt are great which allow us to understand why we are doing thing in ml and how it affect our output
Hey @ChemCoder404! 😊Could you please consider reducing the amount of animations and triggers in your videos? It would really enhance the viewing experience. Thanks in advance!
Hello Sir, I am from IIT Bombay. I believe we spend around 6 months focusing on mathematics. What is your perspective on this? I feel that without a strong foundation in math, especially in machine learning, it’s nearly impossible to achieve accurate or meaningful results.
As a MS in electronics we learned about everything you said up to the part on ML itself. Is there any good sources if you know probability theory, matrices, numeric methods etc to understand like stable diffusion and LLMs? How do we try it out? Most of us don’t have the huge datasets or the $10k Nvidia setups?
What about who is really starting with machine learning? I mean very basic stuff like k-means, clustering, even linear regression. I’ve already learned a little about deep learning because of a scholarship at udacity I couldn’t just deny it. But I feel I need to come back and learn the basics now that the course will end. Not saying that I didn’t learned anything . I learned A LOT. But i guess i would learn even more if i already knew the more basic things. When you talk about making more videos, do you pretend to talk about these things or just deep learning+? I’ve been studying math a lot, but Calculus is something that made me feel i should come back to high school and remember the basics cause I don’t have a math background (I have a degree in marketing). So I really didn’t remember almost anything about topics like trigonometry. It was hard to even admite this to myself but I had to comeback and remember/learn the basics. This leads me to my second question: when you talked about statistics you mentioned very basic things. But when it was about other things mentioned intermediate+ things (I’m sorry, matrix isn’t basic for me). From where do you pretend to start? Sorry for the long comment 😂
A lot of times, if you understand the intuition of the concepts, that should be good for ML. But, in some cases, you do need an in-depth understanding. I am working on a video right now and will 'teach' concepts in Linear Algebra to start with.
