$1 bins are my absolute favorite way to hunt. I love when other collectors and sellers try and tell you it’s impossible to find anything good that way. Had someone talk down to me the other day saying I’ll never find anything that, and just laughed. Best way to fund and fill your collection, and great haul and video as always
*_Those cards? You see all the "missing cards"? That might be because someone picked out "all the keys". When it comes to those cards, it's a low risk to leave them on the table. You would need to get them graded, that costs A LOT, I think it's $100 each and more? Then they need to have a score of 9 or higher x4 to be a 9.0 or higher._* *_If I were you, I'd learn 50 cards to look for and drop the rest, 50 spread among ALL types of cards. I only "know 50" myself and I have never seen 1 of them in the wild._* *_I'd say Magic The Gathering cards are worth more than Pokémon, like Marvel vs DC, but DC has the most valuable comics._* *_And toys? All Star Wars figures and vehicles from the '70's and '80's, especially if carded/boxed. If it's a figure/character you do not know of; it's worth more than you can handle to hear._* *_I guess all carded figures from the '80's and '90's-but these are more rare than many comics, but don't pay out so much._* *_There's also this thing called "we don't have room for all this junk in our hose and now the garage is also full". Toys take up a lot of space. Comic books do not._*
Awesome video! I actually went to an advertised comic garage sale this last weekend and scored! I couldn't believe it because I showed up two hours late not wanting to fight collectors for books and found some amazing ones all for a $1. Keep up the good work!
Love the Nightwing series. I have a couple copies of #78. I even have one still in the Walmart combo pack. My next submission to CBCS will include one of those plus the two #87's 1:50 connecting variants. Cool book with it being one continuous image.
Hi James, I share your philosophy on collecting. Despite the temptation to buy cards and other such collectibles, I just don't know enough about them to risk money that I would otherwise spend on comics, which I do know about. So apart from rare exceptions I'll stick to what I know. Marvel's "Logan's Run" - love the movie and loved those comics, beautiful Perez art and I was so hoping that the series would expand on Logan's world; I suppose it was problems with the studio over rights that killed it. Every issue of the first Swamp Thing series is excellent; the Wein/Wrightson run is deservedly held as a high-water mark of the medium but the subsequent issues continued to use horror very well and blended some SF into the mix as well. Your ST find looks in great condition too, James. Overall, a great lot of comics, well done.
I wonder on the Pokémon card binder, if we should look at the empty slots as a red flag that either the seller already took out all the good ones or another buyer before you went ahead and bought him a single rather than a whole lot. It’s just weird that they were all in different places with a lot of empty spots. At that point if I’m buying and I have no clue what I’m buying but I know there might be some value, I would probably just go super low on the price to make sure I don’t lose a lot of money. $35 and $45 for those two lots seems like a lot. Knowing how you bye, and what a good bargain hunter you are you probably got it for wheelers I hope. Either or your channel is awesome, the info you gave has helped me a lot. Thank you For all that you do!
Your inside venders had a spider girl 77 at 1:39 (black cover or negative cover) go back and get it! If its mint i can be multi hundreds for that book. Pretty rare in NM!
*_That's a really nice haul and you are still pricing raw books a bit low. I'd consider dry-cleaning, pressing and submitting that Swamp Thing, just because of the cover._*
Congrats on completing the SOTB and all the others ones you were able to complete. I was super excited the one day I found Excalibur 73 in the dollar bins to finish the series.
Two years ago, i was hunting those $1-$3 bins and found First Cassandra Cain, White Vision, first Savant, and all the Superman for all season books for $5.
I hit up comic fortress Saturday morning, in Somerville and picked up some really great stuff in their $2 bins, including an Uncanny 281, Shadow of the Bat 35, which is just a super dope cover, and a Justice League of America 200 (with torn cover :/)
I've tried entering the world of comic sales before. I post great books for well below what they are selling for and i never get any bites. Maybe it's because I don't have any established sales? Anyways, I'd love to know how u got into selling and what platforms are best to use to sell.
Mint Hunter Comics,I gotta stop buying comics cause I am getting low on cash so what should I do? Sell some of my comics, which are all keys and rare variants? Are just stop buying for a few months???????
I'm seriously contemplating buying Batman #5 CGC 8.5 for $30k. 21 copies at 8.5 or higher. Bat emblem missing on Bat suit. I think in long term it's a great book to buy. Your thoughts?
Super awesome video! Would love if there were more places to shop for books here in my area. I love the Spider-Man 437 I’ve actually had the toy biz giveaway version since I was a child. Never took it out of the bag. Thinking it would be worth some huge amount as an adult😂 Like a 20$ book now though
Did some diving this past weekend and found a nice condition What If #105 and a vf (or a little better) Astonishing Tales #13. Who says it doesn't pay?
@@MintHunterComics I wouldn’t have either but I just happened to run into a big stack at my shop yesterday and started looking them up on Key Collector.
Pretty knowledgeable about pokemon, what you showed was at most worth ~15$. Not sure what was in that bulk bag but the binder was commons and more recent pack filler.
I could be wrong but the pokemon cards look like all commons. If they have black circles on the bottom right they are commons. Stars are rare and diamonds are uncommon cards.
Mint Hunter Comics,my problem is this,I am scared if I don't buy whatever keys I can find that they will get so expensive that I can't afford them so I just keep buying, what would you do in this situation????
Not enough IRON MAN love in this world. He’s my fave Marvel superhero, so lots of enabling from me toward filling your new IM collection. And I’m still laughing about that dealer asking $20 for a Bronze Age issue of JUGHEAD. WTF?
@@MintHunterComics great finds in the 0.50 bin! You found a lot of older issues, newer books from last year and completed some of your series and found Pokemon cards all in one haul! Great job! Thanks for sharing this video! Have a good night!
Nothing special in the Pokémon cards. If you look at the bottom right, a circle is a common, a diamond is an uncommon and a star is a rare. 99% of cards are only worth about 5-10 cents each. New holos and rare are also not worth a whole lot. 25 cents are most. Also condition is key. Not a lot of hope for the cards in a plastic bag being good condition.

That's where I find the best stuff!
Found a Thor 337 in a $1 bin that came back from CGC at an 8.0. Screw those sellers and collectors!

I believe that Swamp Thing cover is Luis Dominguez...and it is a truly gorgeous book!! He did some great DC covers. Great haul!!
Gotta enjoy buying $1 or 50 cent comics. Cant go wrong with the price, and tons of fun. Especially if you find them at garage sales and flea markets.

Awesome finds. Congratulations on your wedding.
Great pick ups love that the one seller gave bonus Iron mans what a stand up seller 💪👏
Tickle my pickle, pretty funny way to start a video.. Nice grabs..
Nice...I need that Joker #3...only because I collect The Creeper.

Those are some neat books, thanks for sharing!
What a good video. Dollar bins are so fun. I found a New Teen Titans #26 one time.
Better man than me Charlie Brown to go out hunting on your engagement weekend! Congrats in advance for the upcoming nuptials!
I got in a bit of trouble haha
Cover of the 1st Darkseid for free is still great!
Your inside venders had a spider girl 77 at 1:39 (black cover or negative cover) go back and get it! If its mint i can be multi hundreds for that book. Pretty rare in NM!
Much respect to your taste in King Crimson albums!

That's the whole point of what I do! I price books low so that they are happy with me and want to buy again!
That kick drum at 1:20 tho 👀 that’s what I’d be looking for! I hardly ever find drums at these meets!
Nice thumbnail I remember finding a newsstand copy of that first Onslaught in the dollar bin
Congrats on completing the SOTB and all the others ones you were able to complete. I was super excited the one day I found Excalibur 73 in the dollar bins to finish the series.
Nice man!
Heck yea great finds!
Your iron man collection is looking sick bro nice video as always

I didn't find any ASM for you this time but I'll continue to keep an eye! All about those dollar bins
Couple of old Pokémon like the caterpie and haunted you can differentiate the cards by those two
One hour or not you have a very special lady to let you do this
You missed Spider-Girl- first Black suit right before picking up first Onslaught. Extremely difficult book to find book. Great pick ups sir!
Front and back covers are great

Great dollar comic book video. 😀👍

So damn jealous got found Legends of the Dark Knight lol
Looking to get it so I'd have the new and old runs

That's a killer King Crimson album.
It really is. Ironically I think they sound better live
With only 1 shop around me I can never find dollar bins this good unless I drive 45 minutes 1 way somewhere to find any 😔. Great finds though!
Very interested in the maxx
Message my insta if you want a maxx-pack! Haha
Make sure you get yourself a prenup if you want to keep your comic collection in the future, lol.
Should have grabbed that Spider-Girl 77 in that dollar bin.
Dang, I had no idea what that was!
@@MintHunterComics I wouldn’t have either but I just happened to run into a big stack at my shop yesterday and started looking them up on Key Collector.
More videos like this!!

1:40 AYO
I got The Maxx #1.😀👍
Still have any of those Maxx books left? And that onslaught?
Tickeld my pickle? 🤣🤣
I think 9 or 10 was wrightsons last art - Wein went further like 13/15 I think
King Crimson for the win. Lol
Good stuff
You got bent over with those Pokemon cards a lot look like reprints.
Looks like it sigh

Realize these issues have huge print runs and more opportunities will come if you stay diligent
Not enough IRON MAN love in this world. He’s my fave Marvel superhero, so lots of enabling from me toward filling your new IM collection. And I’m still laughing about that dealer asking $20 for a Bronze Age issue of JUGHEAD. WTF?
The Pokemon cards only have value if they are holographic rare's indicated by a star symbol on the bottom left or right hand corner of the card
where was this flea market?
Was an this at Jakes?
If your not going to hold on to those Jokers 1-3 and are thinking of selling, I’m your guy.
Are you selling that daredevil 187
Just had a huge win myself… SIKTC #1-15!!!
I still have never found those! People don't want to sell em! Good for you man!
@@MintHunterComics Yep, very loyal fan base, and its mental to think that #1 is easily reaching over $400 on eBay! Got very lucky!
👏
Back to Pokémon after all these years. lol

i like comic book content but your voice is just intolerable.
