Hi, I was wondering with the Bellfaire expansion if it would be possible to play 8 people. My husband & I have 3 couple friends that want to play. I was wondering if you could just put extra action spaces out and we could add the 8th player with some worker characters. Instead of a total of 15 cards in your city, it would have to be less maybe since there is the 8th player gather their city.
You can mix and match any of the expansions they recommend you start by adding just one until you are familiar with it but you can add more or all of them together if you want;)
So if playing with 5-6 players you’ll be using powers. You won’t be gaining a worker during spring, so therefore will be playing with 5 workers instead of the normal 6?
So my understanding going back in to the rules is these are separate things. So you can play a 5-6 player game without player powers and you will not gain a worker during spring or if you choose to use player powers even in 2-4 player games you will not gain a worker during spring and the same if you are playing with player powers in 5-6 player games. Hope this helps.
I unfortunately have not gotten this expansion to the table yet to say one way or the other. I did look them over and didn't notice anything that really hit me, but that is not saying much when I haven't actually played with them. Which ones do you feel are to strong?

yes you can, each one of the Bellfair modules are optional.
Some of the player powers are too powerful if you compare them with someone of the others. What would you say?

You would still use cards in the meadow this expansion just adds a few new features you can add to your game.
