Sunny was one of the UK's top session singers. She appeared uncredited on countless top 40 hits by "studio manufactured" groups. She also recorded as Sunny & Sue (Sue was another top session singer). They were part of the James Last touring orchestra as featured vocalists throughout the 70s. Check the credits on many 70s albums and you will find her listed- including albums by Donna Summer and Cerrone.

See also "United We Stand" by Brotherhood of Man & "I'll See You In My Dreams" by the Pearls & "Let Us Break Bread Together" by Sue & Sunny & "Third Finger, Left Hand" by the Pearls (also mono 7" version by Martha & the Vandellas).

Admittedly I only knew the Carol Douglas version and maybe I'm biased, but after hearing this, I still think hers is best. The tempo of this is too fast. Carol's really captures the disco beat and I can make out the lyrics better. And this is one song in particular where the lyrics are extremely clever and rhyme so well. Nevertheless, I loved Sunny in Brotherhood of Man.
