There seems to be a new Nordictrack 2450 with an upgraded motor 4.25 CHP and they seemed to remove the buttons besides the screen. Let us know if you plan on reviewing this one soon.
Thanks a lot for this great review. I can't find information online regarding the potential noise disturbance to my downstairs neighbor when using a treadmill in my apartment. I have a solid wood floor, and I was thinking of placing isolation mats under the treadmill. Do you have customers who use it in a similar setting without any issues? Thank you very much.
Yeah, this is always a tough situation. We do hear about this from time to time. Can you hear your upstairs neighbors walking around? So many apartment buildings are built differently it is hard to say how this will go!

For instance, when the woman walks in heels or when they babysit their grandson who runs around the apartment. My apartment has a cork underlay beneath the parquet, and I plan to use a 4cm thick polymer anti-vibration mat under my treadmill. I'm hoping these measures will minimize the noise for my downstairs neighbors, but I know it can be tough to fully soundproof in certain buildings. Could you give me your thoughts please ?
Hi mike love the reviews for big guys I am 6’3” 320. Like the aspect of iFIT and have compared this to bow flex 10 and 22. Great reviews there as well. I know this is spec’d for 300 if I get down to 310 will this be okay as I lose more weight how do I have to be 299 to start does some alert on the treadmill trigger or void the warranty. Great comparison list that you compiled as well really great work.
I just posted this comment to another person but it applies to you as well, thanks for the watching! Ohhh.... this is tough one. Those weight ratings are usually "inflated" a bit so I would be very nervous about going over the limit. My advice to you is either spend the money and go with a higher end machine (Not Sole or Bowflex) (there is typically financing available) or try to find a high end, used treadmill (Not Life Fitness or Precor - their used parts are ridiculously overpriced) that is less than 3 years old. I like used Landice Treadmills and True Treadmills quite a bit. This is a purchase that you will have for a long time so you want to do it right the first time.

I know that some companies will offer financing anywhere from 6 months to longer. I would suggest checking out the website for the brand you like and there should be some type of financing offer in the advertising. I know 3G Cardio for example offers 6 months 0% financing. You can also check to see if a local retailer has the treadmill you like and if they offer financing. Sometimes local retail stores have longer financing offers too.
It is 22" inches wide. Your comment made us nervous that we got something wrong so we remeasured. This is the problem when all these other review sites copy everyone else, if one gets the information wrong then they all get it wrong. This is also the benefit when we actually buy the treadmills and have them in our possession. It is 22" wide, promise!

Depending on the price you want to pay: I am not going to recommend any big box / department store brands here. On the high end scale, at the entry level I would suggest Body crafttreadmills.bodycraft.com/ . We have not reviewed this brand because it does not generate much interest online but it is a good brand. Look at their 16" touchscreen models. We actually do like Peloton but there treadmill does not have a great suspension, if you have bad knees. If you can afford spending around 6k then I would go with the Life Fitness T5 Track 2.0 console. GREAT MACHINE and feel.
I’m 175 pounds, at 5’7. Do not purchase from Nordic Track if you have other options. I have had 3 Nordic track x22i incline trainers treadmills. Each one has had a cracked frame 6 - 16 months into use. They make their treadmills with cheap materials

You mention a 22" deck. Isn't it down to 20" in the new 2450 year? One of the reasons I hit a hard pause on buying this.

How much ceiling height would you need to walk at an incline of 14 if you are 6'2"?
You would probably need to have at least 7.6' ceiling height to be safe.

How bad was the skipping ?
Surprisingly there was no skipping. We don't love Nordic Track for several reasons but the treadmill felt solid.
