Ken is respectful as he doesn’t just show us his successful fixing but also the not successful fixing. He starts over the fixing of the head mask again and tells us why he doesn’t like his previous fixing. This shows that he is serious in his work and always strives to do his best. Thus, Ken gains my high respect.
The frown lines added on the face is subtle but very effective. The cutting of the dangling hair is bold and appropriate. The process of fixing the face and hair of Spider-Man is impressive. Another amazing work of Ken!
The red is so beautiful on this figure! And the blue is identical to the movie. Honestly the shiny blue is probably my least favorite aspect of the suit, it stands out so much
You nailed it, Ken. I live every choice you made. When you busted out the knife and cut the hair, I was like worried, but the end result is more true to the source material. The blue you used on the suit is perfect, as was the red. I think the gunmetal web lines look just fine. I'm not sure if it's as accurate to the suit, but it looks nice. The masked head is weird, and there was nothing you could do to fix the sculpt, but yours turned out much better than the original. Great work as usual. I've been enjoying your channel for quite some time now.
this looks great! i think everyone unanimously agrees that this is the best live-action spider-man suit and you've really made it closer to the one on screen! unfortunately I think the black lines fit a lot more better as the metallic stands out too much
I dont think its unanimous that its the best live action spidey suit, andrew garfields tasm 2 suit probably takes that crown, but i do think its unanimous that its the best mcu spidey suit. But thats just my opinion
@@nellucthegreat fair enough. I do think this new mcu suit is great, especially if there is minimal to no tech in the suit, but on the torso theres this huge gap under the spider symbol where it seems a web line should run across. I guess im just nitpicking at this point, i should be lucky that there hasnt been a spidey suit design that is genuinely bad
this is way awesome! enjoyed watching your painting and thought process in the midst of modifying and painting this figure. Appreciate you sharing the struggles and obstacles you encountered too. Love your update of the figure!
I've been waiting for us to finally see a live action spidey suit with black webs. It looks better like that. The silver webs on tobey and andrew's suits were cool, but the homecoming suit originally had black webs popping out of it behind the scenes in captain america civil war, and it looked beautiful! But they decided to cover up the entire thing with cgi. So I for one am excited to finally see a live action spidey suit with black webs popping out of the suit! :D
ken it has been an absolute privilege to watch you work ~ keep it up, i love the enthusiasm towards always wanting to hone your craft your attention to detail is amazing, and great job on the painting of the headsculpt
This repaint looks so good, although I think the metallic weblines messed the figure up, it’s more distracting, and looks inaccurate, bringing down the figure. Great job with the head sculpt tho, keep up the good work!
Only Ken can make me look at a figure I love and go “hmm not that great actually tbh” 😂 amazing work as always, you manage to find ways to improve any figure, even making great figures greater.
Honestly, the figure looked pretty strange to me at first, but you somehow made it way better! I'd to see you do swinging poses for the spiderman figures
This figure looks solid already, but this figure only lacks the light blue shade on the blue part IMO. But after watching your video, you make it better in every aspect. Awesome job!
You always do great work, only thing I say for this figure is when you do your base red then do light shadowing to create depth then the web lines will look raised. Regardless I enjoyed this one thanks Ken
Absolutely incredible Ken. Great eork, damn. I honestly think the best way to get the weblines being as light and subtle as they are in most of Spideys suits is probably just a single colour and leave the raised/recessed sculpt to fill in the lines. Or maybe with a dark red. The black is just ao far off, and i think any solid colour is going to be too thick wnd obvious
I think the ways in which Spidey switches suits in NWH made sense. Spidey got splashed by green goo & had to switch to the cleaner Iron Spider suit. When that got trashed & corrupted by magic, he reversed his regular suit by removing the skin. Same suit technically. This is only speculation, but I'm assuming since no one remembers Peter Parker, including the suit A.I, he had to ditch his integrated suit due to some incompatibility or the suit is unable to recognize him entirely, etc. That being said, I hope SONY does stick to this suit for the 4th film. It would suck to introduce another design just for the toys & not the story.
My problem with this suit design is that the spider legs are so thin that they blend into the web-lines. This isn't your problem, just a costume issue.
I think the Final Swing suit will be the main suit in the next movie but it'll probably have some minor differences like the spider symbol may be different but I really hope they do the grey web lines like you did and the way Tobey and Andrew's suits have. If he does have another suit, it'll probably be a black symbiote suit. At least that's what I'm hoping for!
The gunmetal webs were a great call, it makes them match the metallic blue of the suit a lot better. I wasn’t a fan of the raised web lines on this figure, but after seeing your repaint, I think I like them even more than the way SHF does it! The face portrait is much better as well, of course. Will you be doing similar work to the new Tobey and Andrew? Andrew’s face looks alright, but Tobey’s looks nothing like him IMO . . .
Please repaint tentacles of Doc Ock's Figure, Deluxe, No Way Home! I missed the yellow and black parts on the tentacles... I would like a video to be made repainting and improving the figure!
I don't know I think the original headsculpt looked more like Holland now with the add on paint it almost looks like a Josh Hutcherson but hey that's only my opinion
i don't like the gun metal grey webbing nor do i remember that being on the suit but what i do recommend if you want black lines on this figure get a black fine print sharpie it's the same color as the webbing and still has the shine everything else though is perfect
Am I the only one that thinks he oversells himself sometimes? Like when he said "I'm shocked at how different the peter parker headsculpts look" when they look exactly the same or when he says "that looks much better" after painting a figure despite the colors almost being the exact same, like come on
You did a great job with the head, red & blue. But the silver paint should've been avoided. It's not accurate at all. Then again, the figure is kind of inaccurate as it stands considering it has raised & slightly thick webbing.
personally, not that big of a fan of the gun metal lines. It looked good when the lights were too on the figure, but in the final product, it looks too distracting. The original web lines, I can understand why its distracting to others, but the gun metal used makes it more distracting compared to the original ones
He won’t get a new suit In the next Spider-Man movie it literally because they are now grounding his character. Meaning he’s street level now and Peter can’t just sew a new suit like the
The metallic web lines doesnt make it look accurate. I would’ve just done the blue and touched up the red and left it at that. Personally the weblines were fine

The final swing suit is CGI because they have not made a real suit yet they will make a real suit when Spider-Man 4 comes out
I wonder how they will make the blue parts of the fabric
That explains the glossy look of the suit
@@ProbablyUltraman good question
@@ProbablyUltramanwell cosplayers have been able to make it, I don't think it will be a problem in the costume department
@@Mayo11-i5t hope so. I swaer if disney slaps on 100 lines on this suit for spiderman 4, I swear💀
The figure looks more natural after repainting the web lines to make them less distracting. Nice video.
The frown lines added on the face is subtle but very effective. The cutting of the dangling hair is bold and appropriate. The process of fixing the face and hair of Spider-Man is impressive. Another amazing work of Ken!
That's definitely your best Tom Holland's head!!! It's just like him, incredible!
That's one of your best paint jobs on the face sculpt. The subtle work you did really made it look like current Tom Holland
The red is so beautiful on this figure! And the blue is identical to the movie. Honestly the shiny blue is probably my least favorite aspect of the suit, it stands out so much
I really love how the after results look, that suit is just by far the most comic accurate we could possibly get in live action form
The fixed metallic blue suit is much much better than the original one. Spider-Man looks much more cooler and advanced in his fixed suit.
Insane work on the face!!!!
I think I would have gone dark red over metallic for the web lines. I liked how the lines looked before you redid the mask.
Looks perfect love the lines they look less thick wonderful job
Excellent job ❤
Looks much better. Nice work.

Nice custom paint job by the way

The new web lines are a huge improvement!
Technically Tom wore just 3, the intergrated suit and the black/gold suit are both just the upgraded suit

please make some tutorials on you painting tips, how do u paint webs, how to not mess up and understand skintone for painting fir action figures

5:20 If you want to sell more toys You could release the normal one and the battle damage suit like Spiderman 1 back in 2002.
Watching these makes me want to open mine, but sadly I'm still worried my final swing Tom will break like everyone else's.

I’m tempted to try this, but won’t there be paint chipping when moving and posing the figure around? Can anyone answer this?
i like this suit because it feels very similar to the non cgi suit they used in civil war
That looks better with the gunmetal weblines

I actually think that the original figure looks more like Spiderman Lotus than what it's supposed to be lol
It's because of the raised webbing the figure has. It stands out way too much.
maybe you could turn the new tob ey from the nwh wave into the black suit from spider-man 3
Hi @kenimakeit I'd be very interested to know if you take commissions? You did a truly fantastic job with this figure!
I don't know I think the original headsculpt looked more like Holland now with the add on paint it almost looks like a Josh Hutcherson but hey that's only my opinion
The front spider symbol is gold in colour. That's why it's looking off.

Could make the second "friendly neighborhood" the black suit from spider-man 3? to make it different??
Can you do iron spider next
Do you sell custom painted heads? if so how much?
Technically he wore four suits because black and gold is just upgraded suit turned inside out but yes technically 5
