Your dad’s smile as the engine ran after his change in the cooling system was wonderful. You’re lucky to have him along; I might require him to be along each spring for that first cruise. Wish my dad was still alive.
Congrats on your first boat, hope you have great journeys with it ! I hope to learn how to sail or find a club in Turku for that :D how long have you been learning before making this beautiful acquisition ?
I learned to sail with my first boat, a 23-footer. Had it for few years before buying the boat in the video. There also this group "Kivojen tyyppien gastipörssi" on Facebook, where you can find helpful skippers looking for crew and willing to teach the basics. Can't recommend it enough! A club is also a good choice, especially if you want to buy your own boat someday.
Thanks for great video. If not secret, why you choice Vagabond31? How fast is she under sails? How roomy shw is i side? What is the roofheight in the salon, in the toilet, in the front cabin?
I wanted one because these are generally regarded as long distance boats and I want to do that someday. Once we left Sweden we were sailing 6-7kts before the winds died down. Hull speed is bit over 7kts. The beam is 3m and it has bit over 180cm headroom in the salon main area and bit less in the head and front cabin. Other alternative boats I was looking at were Laurin 32, Allegro 33 and OE32 (almost bought one), all regarded as good long distance boats but Vagabond is most modern of these
@@kallerissanen5831 Big Thanks for your answer. I also looking to some good, fast, roomy 31 - 34' sailing yacht. But noy long keel. But will be good boat with laminate keel inside in the body for be sure, will be not any possibility water come in the boat. I prefere light weight boats, for make good speed. I like Albin Nova, Scanmar33, Msmba 33, Facil 35 or even Maxi95.
Termostaatin toki vaihdoin suolavesimalliin
Do you mean in the Baltic sea area? If so you can search for "blocket segelbåt bortskänkes" on google to find boats for free or for very little money. These are usually project boats mind you.

Bonny boat.
Great boat
Yes it is! 😁
My goal is to sail those waters one summer (but I am currently in Panama so not this year).
It's a good plan, lots of nice places here! I want to sail the Caribbean one day
I’ve been watching Sam Holmes channel who is sailing near you at present I am from Tasmania
Sam Holmes is great! He was near Hanko last time I checked
Heya Peter, where in Tasmania are you? Im located in Kettering.
Looking for a donation boat here!

The lady only 1 sec screen time 😥😥
Engine trouble because, it was stupid German or American made engine which made of Styrofoam & garbage 🗑….
As your comment says, the Vagabond 31 is outfitted with a stupid German or American made Volvo Penta engine...
@@andiheinrich2830 : Volvo is another pieces of crap 💩. I had Volvo car & I knew it. They use bogus marketing policies, that’s it…
The engine is a Yanmar
