I think it's each to their own, because I play with a heel toe style, it is how I learned driving and I feel it very much applies to the game... even if there is oddities from real life.
They're both fun. Initial D I think is a bit more challenging which makes it fun. Maximum Tune is good because the mods actually make a difference though lol.
Can you get the whole soundtrack for WMMT3 at least we can sample them before the release date. This is very good audio unlike other videos that cracking.

@YTR0009 its not a game boost, its just that if you brake for too long the car stops and in TA you don't want the car to stop for even that 0.00001 second so they wall tap so the car bounces off the wall, you'll lose enough speed to make the turn possible and the car won't stop
If you're running at a specified minimum speed at a specific point of the track during a time attack, then the screen flashes red. It's supposed to be a 'speed camera' effect, but in game you run such ridiculous speeds you should set off any speed camera.
@MegatronZ2885 Japanese versions of the cabinet can record the race, and have it transferred to DVD/Digicam for a price. You'd notice that all clear recordings of the game are in Japanese. Too bad the NA cabinets don't have this luxury.
depends on corner + ur car; ie how many gears ur car has and the handling =\ which u would noe better than anyone else but usually go down 1 gear if u turn well 2 gears if u hit something

@YTR0009 watch the hakone outbound TA, most of them people will purposely hit the wall on one or two of the turns it'll make more sense if you actually see the car in 3rd person not first
How did you capture this video? The Audio and video quality cannot be that good with a handheld recorder, and there is no emulator that will play any versions of maximum tune Because that quality is ridiculous!
okay you know what for the people that are saying you break everywhere you don't there are only two turns in all of osaka you brake , the rest are tapping on gas ,
personally i like 5; cos i have a 5 + 6 gear cars but i find the 5 gear better =T comes down to personal preference being a girl for 5 gears u change less? i suppose..

Played this when i was waiting for an Initial D arcade to come free. Pretty fun.

The car hes driving is a nissan skyline r32 (BNR32)
I use the breaks all the time. Not for a long period of time. Just a simple tap of the break, shift down and turn, but that's just me.

one of the fastest, yes. but most players in my local arcade (including me) prefer the r 34, because it has 6 gears (r 32 has 5 gears).

No that's called a "wall tab", its one of the techniques in this game.
He did tap the wall, the speed went down from 300 all the way to 240s instantly, so he has to tap that wall.
