- I have been SOO excited for the latest batch of Magic Mixies Pixlings dolls and was so ecstatic to find this brand new 2-pack on Amazon!
This Unia & Pegacorn 2-pack is a first for Pixlings and the I adore the idea of introducing larger companions for the Pixlings.
I also got my hands on a new 4-pack of the Magic Mixies Minis, which are mini versions of the mixlings!
I never really have dabbled in any other Magic Mixies offerings beyond the Pixlings dolls but I did see that some future Galaxy Hair Pixlings are slated to be released soon. Those dolls come with some mini mixlings so I wanted to check these out almost as preparation for those future releases!
Stay tuned to see me unbox these dolls (horribly might I add…. the color reveal gimmick did not pan out….) and see what the future of Magic Mixies holds for us!

I would find a way to repurpose the bottles as something else, like maybe a vase.

I want ❤ so cute 😍 also not really into the bottle, but I an keeping them. I removed all the plastic and the bottle in the center so I could store excess stuff in them.
this is such a labor intensive reveal gimmick 😩
And mine didn’t even work out either 🥲 the dolls are cute but the reveal never feels that satisfying
@@Draculijah you are a true champ for volunteering as tribute to show us how it (doesn’t) work 🫡😆 i think the dolls are cute, but i haven’t seen any that i feel like i need to own (yet). but $30 for 2 dolls at this quality level seems like a fair deal, thank you for showing us! it’s so helpful to see dolls out of the box when deciding whether to invest in acquiring them!

The pegacorn looks like a dragon too because of the paws, the texture in it’s belly and the tail

The pegacorn and Unia is really cute. The extra plastic waste is (as always) a shame.
Yeah it just feels like a cheap ploy to get you to buy as many as possible which is so counterintuitive with this style of cumbersome plastic packaging 😑
Wow I really love Rainbow Star. Is there a way to get the dolls out of the packaging without doing the water (I’ve not bought one yet)? I’d love Amber with a dragon, too!!
If I’m not mistaken, yes you can take them off without doing the gimmick

Thanks! They are Lol Tweens stands, they work super well for Pixlings. Some stands I took from Tweens dolls in my collection and then I recently bought some in bulk off eBay for like $6 a stand!

Cute doll added bonus she comes with a unicorn. Wynter is one of my doll's that I display with my G1 My Little Ponys she fits right in. Got her 70%off. I skipped the stupid gimmick. I use the bottle to store my coins in. But if I get a new one, I'm going to recycle it.

if the leak of the limited unia is real, then I'd be more mad to get her over one of the regular dolls because her dress is hideous
I just saw her dress and I’m hoping it’s maybe a prototype or something bc the art on the bottles for the dress looks a little more intricate

With the magic mixies minis some have effects some don’t and it doesn’t really list it as such.

Original Marina is the only one I don’t like, so I’m waiting to see how this new version is, and I don’t like Caitlyn cause she seems too furry for my taste, if she didn’t have such a furry face I would like her I think, cause I LOOOVE cat ears

@@Draculijahyea if ppl want to see that there are children’s toy channels or I can see if you get like them sent to for free to review then but if you’re shelling out your own money and most of your audience is adult collectors we don’t care bout that gimmick either. I was glad to know with the first ones it wasn’t necessary to get doll out since everyone’s doll seemed to get wet. Do that so those of us may pick up a few of these know what to do without maiming a mess
It looks like Rainbow Star has some rotation as well as the hinge joint on the tail, so that could allow some posing options.
Yes, she does! I think that joint was mostly their so that Rainbow Star could fit in the potion bottle but I don’t mind the extra articulation
I LOVE the pixlings!! Im so excited for all the new ones, when i got my first one i was hooked & spent the rest of my doll budget collecting the rest!!
I tried to give away the bottles on FB marketplace for free, with the unused potion reveal, very clearly labeled with no dolls, but i think people kept assuming they came with them & kept flaking 🥲 i thought some parents might like them as refills for their children but no such luck
