CUTE! She's gorgeous! I love both your cat doll & Hextian! If you want to give your doll another try on her makeup, keep practicing I know you'll get there. Try Dollmotion's technique on making the tail, try wire, bandage tape, yarn weft felt & glue. I do love her dress & Bow, but I know you'll get there, I give your video a huge gold star.
@@SavannahAlexandraArt With this type of dress, you could also try attaching the tail to a little string to tie around her waist under the skirt so you wont have to drill a hole in the body for it to stay put. Needle-felting the tail is always an option too! Would work well with the look of the vintage hair on her head and give it a cohesive style I think! Otherwise, she's lovely!!
Epoxy is also too fragile for a tail. What you need to do is seat a wire into her body with some hot glue and then make a tail by covering the wire with epoxy. Anything else will not be strong enough to withstand any pressure.
Epoxy works fine solo, though it is heavy, so building off an armature makes it less so, but she used air dry clay, and that is extremely light and brittle. I only ever use it to make a quick shape for silicone molds, or as the centre of whatever I cover with polymer/epoxy.
@@DinkyInky2 I just don’t expect that long of a snake of epoxy to have any longevity especially if it has no support at the connection point. I can see it snapping off at that point just like the air dry clay. (Which is definitely garbage for this type of thing) I just suggested the wire attachment because that will pretty much ensure that the tail won’t snap off.
I'm here from Hextian's video, and I'm so glad! Your doll is lovely... her face has a Lucille Ball vibe, and I love it! It was also a fun surprise to see Rachel's little cameo (she's another fave of mine!). LOL! Thank you for a delightful video. I will definitely be checking out your others!
I love, love, LOVE this face up! The iconic Barbie side eye is just so perfect for Miss Toodles. I’ve always thought she had a serious case of RBF, so this is great.
Tip: Next time you mistakenly do the hair before the face up, you should probably wrap the hair with an old piece of cloth or some plastic wrap. Hope that helps.
I love the way she turned out!!! I really like the sculpted eyelids, as well as using the ruffle trim for the layered dress! That was a great way to work smarter not harder!! I also think the RBF works bc it gives the energy that shes just incredibly unamused by all of the simping tomcats 😂 No need to compare yourself, both of your dolls are super cute w their own vibes, and everyone starts somewhere!! 💜💜💜
I came from Hextian’s video, and I love how she came out! Don’t give up! Keep customizing. I was actually inspired to give doll customizing from Hextian as well many years ago. ^^
gurl she looks so good! I love her eyeshadow SO much, the 3D effect you gave it looks spectacular! Everyone has to start somewhere, and this can be a good doll to come back to later when you have your technique down! Much love♡
For fine sanding in small areas, the cordless pen style nail e-files are inexpensive, and you can get fine Emory Dremel sanding bands to fit the mandrel bits, as are dust collectors. I have some cheap ones I use for polymer clay/resin/epoxy cleanup. Toodles looks purrfect!💞😻
I loved her, and loved to know your work! Your art is amazing, Tilly looks so gorgeous 💖 and I instantly smiled when saw you, you look so kind and friendly 🥰 I was having a really hard art block, but seeing both videos of your dolls inspired me to draw them together 😄 (sorry for any grammatical mistakes, english is not my native language)
I will mention there is a product called CosClay (sp) but its flexible when curred/dried. Even if you don't end up doing a new tail, its something you might like to have for future projects!! She is fun ... BUT... Im glad you said she had "RBF" first!!
You’re still a beginner in customizing, but with each doll your art is getting stronger. Love both your cats. Her resting b face is giving me Joan Crawford vibes! Love it!
She looks beautiful,I think her dress turned out pretty in the end.Its all learning, everyone learns by things they did not get right at first .You did amazing 🥰
oh she's so cute i adore her! honestly when i saw her i immediately imagined her wearing like...a short bodycon dress with a large bow in the back? like tilly took a length of ribbon and just wrapped it around her, if that nakes sense 😅 essentially just moving the ribbon on neck to her waist id say to make the tail out of fabric, my only real experience tho is in costumes tho so idk how translatable that is to dolls
CUTE, I love her, It was my first time seeing your video and I really enjoyed it your such a cute person, next time whenever you wanted to make a tail, definitely use jewellery wire and then use air dry clay on top. Then it will never brake💗💜💟💗😘🥰
Omg i didn't know about the 3D eyelids thing that's so cool! I think part of the reason why the first dress looked so awkward is because you hemmed both the top and bottom of the skirt, making the top too bulky for the scale but I love the second version you made! I love how it's both like the one hextian made and different it looks amazing with the color scheme you chose :)
I think that you are definitely being too hard on yourself girl. Your doll is beautiful. Using Draculara means that the joints will blend in with the body blushing so it's not that noticeable. In my opinion all the older Barbies have resting witch face anyways so it gives her a cute and sassy look. I've learned the hard way that you can't rely on model magic for anything. I'm totally subscribing
Tilly and Poppy are in love and no one can tell me otherwise, i can't wait for the wedding. I think she turned out awesome, i LOVE the hair and i think the eyes/3d eyelashes turned out really cool, i love how the heavy purple eyeshadow looks. also if you keep the tail short we can just say she's a bobtailed cat
Just found your channel through this collab. I think you're as cute as a button, and I like that you tried something different/not often seen with sculpting the lashes. I saw that you sculpted the lashes onto a big head vase which worked really well in another video. It's cool to see the technique on two different scales. I think you've done really well and the effect of the sculpted lashes has the vintage, classic kind of vibe you were going for.
Ooh, I follow you both, so it's a neat surprise to see a collab. I like the cartoony vibe of your girl. And I appreciate her sassy face loool. Keep it up!
Yessssssss Tilly Paws ❤❤❤
Thank you so much for this collaboration! It was such an honor and so fun working with you!! ❤ your art is so inspiring 😭 💕
NOO IT WAS AN HONOR WORKING WITH YOU!!! ❤️❤️❤️
I love both your cat and Savannah Alexandra Art's cat.
I love both of your guys's dolls ❤❤
Please not again
@@AndyNewman95🖕fuck you there dolls were beautiful This Collab was beautiful.
I am genuinely so happy for you that you had the opportunity to exchange and collab with HeXtian ! 🥰💕
Omg Toodles Galore and Poppy Purrington have inverse colours for their bows and dresses!!! That is SUPER cute, honestly.

Cosclay would be a great alternative! Bake it separately, then glue it in afterward.
Imo, if anything, i think she could have gone with either cloth or resin and maybe flock the ears but those are ideas and might not be too good to do.
@@joan_of_snarkoh that’s a great Idea! I always forget that cosclay is an option. Good thinking!!

She’s beautiful! And I’m so happy to see another left-handed artist! I rarely see that.
She turned out so cute !! I love that you both collaborated together! The designs are so darling and I'm obsessed with them !
Tip for the weird sanding spots is to get sanding sponges!! They mold to the spots and you can easily get into tight spots with them!!!
I cannot wait to draw yall cats together!! SLAYED THIS COLLAB!!💕💕💕❤️🔥❤️🔥👏🏾👏🏾
I honestly think your doll is really cute! I also really appreciate the sassy eyes, it does give off the vibes of the tom and jerry girls

I would use a nail drill that comes with bits to sand the eye lash area, just a thought. Looks adorable anyways 😊
Tilly Paws is THAT doll ✨
She’s literally so cute!!! An icon
Right! But isn't that the way cats look at you? Rbf all the way! She turned out adorable!
Ahhhh she’s so cute!!! I love her!!!
Dollightfull and popin atelier are doll creators who are wonderful folks who have videos( or at least ideas) on how to make strong tails
Tilly Paws looked so beautiful and elegant, I loved her dress and hair!
Idk if you've ever seen Monique from animal crossing but this doll gives me MAJOR her vibes lol😂💜💜💜
