If a 160 pounder cannot do any damage to Tank, is it Devin or Shakur that would cause a damage. You could see the sparring was not too serious, that's why Calvin was discussing in the background instead of giving Tank some tips

Kevin is very good but he doesn’t have as many dimensions as gervonta. He has the same amount of weapons in his arsenal but he shoots them only with speed and trying to overwhelm his opponents. It works but it isn’t as effective at the highest level of the sport. Gervonta chooses his shots so good that he lets you hit him just to find your holes. They are both great fighters tho

Eeeeh. I think Tank takes a lot of hits. I've gone back and watched his fights. I'm a big fan but all that has to happen for him to lose is for him to meet someone with equivalent power. That person may not exist currently, but basically he is getting by on the fact that he has a tremendous chin, and obviously he has superior power to anyone in his class. He's going to have a lot of trouble if he runs into someone with as good of a chin, and anywhere close to his power.

Well said mate.. I think we saw some of this in the Garcia fight at the weekend. You could see how calm Tank was under pressure knowing his opportunities would present themselves and that was the big difference in the end. "There's levels" as they say 🤙🏻

This is one reason why I’m convinced Tank is going to win. He’s in there with bigger guys with better experience. Ryan is in there with guys with less experience which make him look better than what he actually is. We see Tank being able to take big shots when Luke easily got to Ryan. To me it’s easy math.

I was like "why is he fighting this big ass dude?" Then I caught on. I was a little slow on the uptake. Is it normal to spar above your weight class? This just looked so arduous. World class takes a TON of work and I always appreciate the fighters for doing their work.
It depends on what you’re sparring for. If you’re s preparing for a puncher you’d wanna spar with a bigger man who hits hard. If you’re preparing for a speedster (like Ryan) he’s probably sparring a lot of smaller guys with crazy speed and sneaky left hooks. You basically just wanna hyperfixate on one aspect, and then find a guy who’s very strong in that area
Tank literally gets fat when he doesn’t train so I doubt it’s a problem for him in sparring it’s not like he’s walking around at 135 he definitely puts on weight

Davis is a cagey methodical smart fighter. He's thinking. And knows when he's got an opening. He's strong too from a lot of sparring that's the old school way. Best way.
Tanks defense is getting to Floyds level. If you pay attention, kevin didnt really land many clean shots because take was deflecting and rolling. iFw tank heavy. His offense is incredible, he is definitely under rated

Tank dominated. Touched him up whenever he wanted to. The one thing tank has working against him is that he’s so short. So when an opponent smothers him with punches it looks like they land but if you look closely Tank is blocking almost all of those shots with his gloves. Tank has great boxing ability.
