Love all of the tips! My first craft area when my children were young was in my bedroom. I moved my bed up and hung a heavy curtain across the room and behind the curtain I had two tall bookcases, a folding table with a rolling cart under it and three lamps: one on top of each bookcase and one on my desk. I used room darkening curtains so when my husband slept he could not see the light. It was cozy and I felt blessed to have a space to myself. Of course, as the girls moved out I took a room for myself, and have had my own room for the past 14 years, but I still remember fondly my crafty curtain room that I had to myself for over 12 years!
Corner of my living room by the window for crafting, a corner of my bedroom near the window for sewing/needlecrafts. Your tips are wonderful and I look forward to trying them! My fav is where all the stamps are placed on the platform and the paper is rotated 4 times, Bulk Layer Technique #1. Looks like SO much fun! Can hardly wait to see if I can keep the coordination going. TFS!
I am lucky enough to have a Craft Room, it definitely is my Happy place. I make cards and do scrapbooking. I share my table space with my three year old Grandson who loves to craft with Grammy and I cherish every minute I get to spend with him. Thanks for this wonderful video tutorial!
What a wonderful, informational stamping video. I learned a lot. don't have that many layering stamp sets. But now it will be MUCH easier when I do use the ones I have. There is a tiny little corner of my office/sewing/card making room that is devoted to making cards for my family and ones that I love in my "outer" family 🥰. I love my tiny corner. It is probably the MOST organized of any of my creative spaces, everything within arms reach ☺. Where-as I have a beautiful art studio in an adjacent building from our home (lovingly built by my hubby just for me) for glass, painting, sketching, clay work etc. This tiny card making corner brings just as much joy as my large art studio. Thanks again for a wonderful creative learning video. As always, I enjoy your uplifting, to-the-point style of teaching❣
Thanks for this awesome tutorial on using layering stamps!! At 67 years young, I finally have my own craft room! However, I still use the kitchen if I am doing really messy heating embossing or wet techniques. Prior to TH-cam crafting tutorials, I found that getting a good outcome with my wood block stamps was very difficult so I stopped using them for many years. Fortunately, a younger friend introduced me to embossing folders and various techniques which led me on a TH-cam journey. Honestly, I watched so many "how to " techniques that I feel I have a master's degree in paper crafting! Thanks for your time in creating such well thought-out tutorials.
The idea to use copy paper for lining up layering stamps is genius! Definitely my favourite hack from this video. Thanks so much for your inspiration. Look forward to your next video.
This is the best, Justine. I needed to write it down in my card making journal because there are many steps. It is logical and I don't want to forget a step. 💖🇨🇦
Wow, I never thought of stamping in reverse!!! I have bought so many sets & hate them because I never get them right!! Can’t wait to try this technique. Thanks Justine ❤️
Just reading your comments must be a full time job. I love, love, love, your videos so keep loving your job cause your passion shines down on us mere mortals!
Never thought about copy paper. Wonderful idea. I think most companies are getting better about reference guides. My oldest layering stamps are much tougher to line up.
Fantastic video!! I love the techniques for doing bulk images... Such a time saver! . I've saved this to Pinterest as it's so wonderful to have all of these techniques in one place. Thanks so much. !
Thank you Justine for the tips. My craft room is located in our bonus room upstairs. I fell in love with the Altenew stamps purchased the layering stamps and failed at getting them to come out correctly. I will try your tips and give it another go. Your vides are fantastic can't get enough. After 15 years of cardmaking there is always something new to learn I love this hobby.
Thanks for watching Leslie :) Hope you get those stamps working. Definitely check out the Altenew layering guides as well. They show you where exactly to line up the stamps
I absolutely love your bulk layering technique! Brilliant!!! I have a multi-plate stamp positioner which works great but your method for multiples images is so much faster!
Thankfully I only have one layering stamp. I'll try the stamp in each corner and see how that goes. Maybe this will be something I really enjoy. Thanks for the great demo Justine. I appreciate all the time it takes to demonstrate these techniques.🌷🌷
Love everything about the video. I do have my own craft room. I took the kids nursery and toddler room and made it into my craft room after they grew up enough to sleep in their own rooms. Love it.
I have my craft room in my dinning room/lounge room. I don’t feel “blocked in” and I can watch tv whilst crafting. Love your videos tyfs, really appreciate it
Always enjoy your videos, thanks for the layering hacks. I will have to try them. I am blessed to have a craft room. My kids are grown and out of the house so I have a good sized bedroom that is my weekend sanctuary.
I craft in my kitchen; the under-cabinet LED lighting is exactly what I need. With the help of my fella, I've been able to (mostly) fill my needs for storage with adaptations of cubes from H.L. These now are chopped & reconfigured to be open on 4 sides, w/ casters attached, and reside in my pantry closet when not in use. This arrangement serves 2 purposes: Keeps my purchasing to something manageable, AND everything HAS to go back outta sight when supper needs fixing, or company's coming!!
Hi Justine, what a great video!!! I have learned so much by watching you and as you said at the end of your video I will be getting out my layering stamps and will be having fun this time. Thank you so much for sharing these hacks that will be simplify my techniques for creating cards with layering stamps. I find them so beautiful when I see them, but when I tried to recreate them it would never be as beautiful as the images. But now I have learned so much, so guess what I am doing right after I finish this message... that’s right, I will be taking your hacks to create great layering flowers!!!
I have a small craft room. Empty nesters now, so we have an extra bedroom. I struggle with layering stamps. Thank you for the video. It’s helpful. I will try them again.🙂
Really enjoyed this video Justine - watched time the end ! You know I love my pastes and there was definitely new stuff in here for me! Thank you for having me on the hop 😍
Thanks Justine. Ni am just getting started with stamping so I think it will be a while before I feel comfortable tryimg layering stamps -- but very informative. 😊
I got some layering stamps with magazines that I purchased but haven't used them. I only got my stamp platform awhile ago and now I think I can do it. The thought of trying to line all those stamps up without help was scary! Thank you. edited to add. I was at the doctor's today and on the way home stopped at Barnes and Noble and got some card making magazines with stamps and dies, etc. with each of them. I picked by what looked interesting. But I watched TH-cam for a while and then started to look through the magazines that I had gotten. Surprise, surprise. One of the magazines had bird stamps and dies and it wasn't just a bird stamp it was layered stamps and on top of that, extra stamps to make three recognizable bird varieties: Finch, Blue tit and a Robin as well as a no-name generic type bird. The instructions on the back of the card with all the stamps and dies for which pieces to stamp in what order for each bird. If you didn't want to stamp and color the parts, you could die cut it out of pieces. They can be found in Simply Cards and Papercraft 216. Without your video that I watched tonight, I would be lost working with these stamps and dies so a very big thank you.
I love Altenew layering flowers too and I have used that last trick (also saw it from Jennifer McGuire) and it works great!! Thanks for sharing your other ideas and I have a little craft room/ closet that I work in but sometimes I like to stand up and work at my kitchen island when everyone is gone for the day!
I craft all over the house currently. It depends where I can get a big enough space on a table or desk. I do have a small craft room. Everything needs to be organized at this point and time. Good tutorial. Tfs.
Thank you sooooo much for this video. I am just starting out with stamping, and this video is so very helpful! My craftroom is one of our spare bedrooms since our children have grown up and moved out. I am so very grateful to have what I have, but it is slowly becoming too small 😂😂😂😂
Great video! I definitely found some new ways to try the layering stamps. I do have a hard time with this and have almost given up using them. You’ve given me new hope. Thanks.
Wow! There are some great time saving techniques here! Love, love, love them all! Thanks so much for sharing with us. My craft room is in my basement and I’m in the process of reorganizing everything so that I’ll actually use my supplies and tools!
Thanks Justine! Very helpful. I am currently setting up a card table in either my kitchen or living room, when I craft. I am planning to clean off my craft table, so it's not just storing supplies, but actually a usable surface. Need to get organizing....and probably purging!
Great tips 😍 I have a small craftroom, but most of the time I am crafting in the living room, watching TV and in the same room as my husband lol ❤ thanks for sharing your tips Hugs
Thank you for the idea of practicing with copy paper. What a great idea! My craft room is part of my bedroom. Thank you for all of these ideas. I'm excited to try some of them.
Thank you for showing this. I too struggle with layered stamps sometimes. Lots of great information. As for where I craft, my husband and I built an addition onto our house for my new 12 x 24 craft/plant room.
Thank you great tips I enjoyed this lesson very much. I don't stamp as much as I would like to with my layering stamps. Now I'm looking forward to trying your tips out.
I made a craft space in the garage. I have a fan for summer and a space heater for winter. I love it. I'm completely alone....no cat crawling over my work surface or anyone asking me where stuff is. My happy place.
I just love watching your videos! I thought I'd know most of the hacks, but once again, you taught me so many new things. Also, I am one of your happy TRBC members!
Thanks for the ideas! I like the use of the typing paper. I have not tried that and I will incorporate the idea! I’m an Altenew fan! I craft diligently in my Diva Den!! 😍
What an outstanding tutorial, I never thought of doing it, very efficient!!! THANK YOU Justine!

That's awesome. I am still looking for a way to have grandkids without having kids LOL I craft with my students though in the meantime

Yes! Many don't want their own dedicated space. I love the idea of a she shed but I also think it would get a bit lonely out there
Great video! I found it very good, as well as extremely helpful! Thank you so much for making the video.
Thanks for these idea’s. I love the layering stamps, but not always too happy about how much time they can take....this will certainly help!

I really enjoy your videos and wanted to let you know I appreciate them and you.
I’ve been doing layering for a while now but I still learned a few tricks from you. Thank you
Thank you! I love your bulk stamping technique. Why I didn't think of something like that, I haven't a clue. LOL This is why I love TH-cam!

Such wonderful ideas! Thank you for sharing!
Craft corner for now. I’m refinishing a large desk to switch out what I have there. I also plan to have a craft room when my son moves!
I feel blessed to have a beautiful full craft room -- such a change from my single desk at the side of our bedroom when we lived in NYC. :)
That's why I didn't want an apartment in the city, a little more space is so nice!
Thank you sooooo much for this video. I am just starting out with stamping, and this video is so very helpful! My craftroom is one of our spare bedrooms since our children have grown up and moved out. I am so very grateful to have what I have, but it is slowly becoming too small 😂😂😂😂

Awesome video, clear and concise instructions, great job and super useful. Thank you.
Thanks for watching!
Thanks Justine! Very helpful. I am currently setting up a card table in either my kitchen or living room, when I craft. I am planning to clean off my craft table, so it's not just storing supplies, but actually a usable surface. Need to get organizing....and probably purging!
I like my glass mat for that. Because it is raised a bit, I find it keeps the mess off my surface
I have a separate craft room, small but perfect for me. It is my happy place. Thank you for all the great tips!
Thanks for watching!
Great tips 😍 I have a small craftroom, but most of the time I am crafting in the living room, watching TV and in the same room as my husband lol ❤ thanks for sharing your tips Hugs

Bulk is definitely the key, I don't like pulling them out for one flower either.
I made a craft space in the garage. I have a fan for summer and a space heater for winter. I love it. I'm completely alone....no cat crawling over my work surface or anyone asking me where stuff is. My happy place.
Ode to happy places! That sounds heavenly!
I have a fab craft room. It’s Bermuda themed. So relaxing
Position 1,2, 3, 4 for bulk stamping. Mind blown!

I just love watching your videos! I thought I'd know most of the hacks, but once again, you taught me so many new things. Also, I am one of your happy TRBC members!
Thanks so much for being a part of class and I'm glad you learned something new :)
Brilliant tips, Justine. Thanks so much for a fabulous video

Thanks for the excellent teaching. I have turned my living room into my craft room/explosion
Lol explosion
Thanks for the ideas! I like the use of the typing paper. I have not tried that and I will incorporate the idea! I’m an Altenew fan! I craft diligently in my Diva Den!! 😍
Excellent techniques!
Love these hacks, thank-you! We converted our formal living room into a craftroom and my husband added doors, because I am sooo messy. 😊
