- “Deflated” is a companion piece to “air head”; @shykids first experiment with OpenAI’s Sora - this time combining real world actors and locations with Sora generated videos.
In a hard hitting interview, Sunny dishes on his rise to fame, his sudden disappearance from the limelight, and what’s keeping him grounded. 👀🎈

here is a red heart for this funny comment!

I'm so grateful that OpenAI now specifies that this is Sora and also VFX combined and not just a rough AI generation.
bruh they slightly altered a few frames.
@@unityman3133Far more than “slightly” altered.
@@wedontexist369 no I saw the tweets, slightly altered
Yes! Super agree!

I think this is also a testament to how Sora is an additional tool rather than a replacement with the "VFX + Sora" watermark, showing how you still need human creativity to fine-tune the final product
But in the future you might not need this fine tuning anymore.
People pointing out all the mistakes in this technology that is in its infancy and hasn't even been released yet! Y'all wild. This is incredible.

I need this haha!
Can't we just appreciate the huge effort all the engineers, designers and all people who work at Open AI do? They are insane making stuffs like that are defying what was thought in the past to be fiction. Beside the risks of fake news etc... (In which security must be a prority). It still an insane work by the geniuses at Open AI, instead of saying AI does everything, these people are the example of the human creativity to make actual insanity.
I love how they acknowledge AI's shortcomings at 3:18
1- Sora's videos tend to be slow motion
2- AI models of all kinds struggle with hands
That's a quite funny fix for non-continous faces in sora movies :)
The non-balloon faces are continuous though.
I think the problem with the non continuous faces comes from the fact that most ai videos today actually are generated using image generators in clever ways. People have tried makeshift fixes for making the frames look continuous, but the tools are still image generators at heart. On the contrary Sora seems to be designed from the ground up to be a video generation tool.
@yorgostsitsikas4350, agreed. Instead of animating a static image "skin" by warping it, the objects have real integrity to move with degrees of freedom with subcomponents for detail. I heard rumors OpenAI combined Unreal Engine 5 with TH-cam videos during Sora's training process.
@@artscollab yeah they have been added with blending/CGI
It's mindblowing how Sora will be available for public use in the future, it will be a game changer for film industry
THIS is amazing. THIS is why I am excited for SORA and love the idea of genai. These tools in the hands of creative people, serving as an addition thing, is going to enable so much new and creative things to exist. It's not meant to replace, it's to enhance. This is proof.
Props for the disclaimer
I think it's brilliant to combine real imagery with a green screen background, then fill it with AI-generated video. Studios could reallocate budget and efforts to more crucial aspects.
Then again ... Jobs lost
Now anyone can create a block buster
But where do the blockbusting stories come from ?
@@mm-hl7ghThey come from genius creativity.
@@wedontexist369 You must be living on a different planet.
@mm-hl7gh the same place all the other blockbusters come from... Someone copying a script from 30+ years ago.
or p*rn
Imagine if OPENAI never releases SORA to the public but confine it to the highest bidder in the movie industry! It maybe using all this to hype its product.
They would lose money. They will release it and make billions.
This is why nobody wants your business decisions
Someone else will create a similar technology eventually. OpenAI is innovating, but that does not mean that they will perpetually be the only ones that are able to replicate such technologies
You think open AI are the only company creating something like SORA ?
I was wondering what was going on with everyone's hands at 2:42 so I'm glad they're addressing this soon!
I mean, some genuine LOLs with this one. I need Sora yesterday...
bro the model has improved so much this is crazy
"Balloonciaga"? Gotta love it. 🤩
Already a Masterclass on not only embracing and showing the possibilities of AI and writing a clever script adapted to its "current" limitations (and most likely soon to be ameliorated), but making it hilarious as well as meta! Bravo! The post/comping will the real footage is super!

What‘s going on with everyone’s hands. 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Wow, great! And voice is also being done with Sora?
Probably not.
Awesome how they're starting to make the same character appear in different scenes. -This is a huge step🎉-
Edit:Scratch that, thought it was 100% AI...
I need a BTS of this. How did they blend the real video and the Sora video so well? Is all of it Sora??
The interviewer is real at least.
@@BonnNowa I don't think so
@@BonnNowaShe is not real. Focus on her neck at 0:34
I wonder how much of this was actually from Sora, but I'm sure it'll be a great tool to use!
I'm just imagining the wild stuff we are about to witness, everyone's and anyone's imagination will be able to just be made exactly in whatever way you want.
This is a great cross between generative AI and comedy, and I hugely enjoyed it. A key observation would be that the script and edit are done human artist, telling us the still remaining challenges for AI.
I'm waiting for movie completely made by sora!!😊
I'll be blunt. It's the only neural network that's ever surprised me in a very big way. Even ChatGPT didn't surprise me as much as Sora. I just hope there will be at least some kind of free period when it comes out (at least for 5 generations).
When there's emptiness instead of an idea in your mind - such plots are born.
this was awesome
i always wanted to make films, Sora gonna help everyone become a director
Yeah, who needs Hollywood!
But does everybody have stories to tell ?
The prompts you need to make a proper film will be blocked.
Not every buddy will get access to sora😂
That's pretty dumb, Sora is a tool like dalle 3 which available for everyone with a subscription so it's going to be same with Sora because it's a business the more the subscribers the more they make
2:23 the guys in the middle just dissolved in the ballon
Here is a possible comment for a TH-cam video about Sora AI generating realistic videos:
"Mind blown I've seen some impressive AI-generated videos before, but Sora AI takes it to a whole new level. The realism and attention to detail in the videos you showed are stunning. I had to do a double take to convince myself that they weren't real. The potential applications for this technology are endless - from film and TV production to advertising and education. I can imagine Sora AI being used to create personalized educational videos, or even generating entire movies and TV shows. The future is here Great video, thanks for sharing this amazing technology with us."
I like the slow motion comment. My thoughts exactly every time I see a Sora video 😭

@@issaczheng5067they definitely just saw that the clock was missing a 4 and then re prompted for a man carrying a 4 and slid it in there. so intentional on the part of the directors but not the ai
Plenty of flaws:
0:19 southern Africa missing
0:25 '4' missing from clock, arguably in the guy's hands instead
0:26 Three Australias and an extra continent above it
0:36 Nonsense writings on the wall
0:38 White aged man in blue jeans turns into running golden kid in smudged purple dress-ish thing
1:04 Unnatural arm movements from both, polka dots on clown's right arm change and/or disappear after swiftly moving it
1:38 Bald twins (upper left) have a weird arm that seemingly is holding an invisible camera, and the other twin perhaps doesn't have an arm - both arguably possible though
1:38 Fourth photographer from the left has a very weird body
1:40 Rightmost guard has a weird body - seemingly merging with an audience member behind the fence, left guard has no upper body - you could argue its mannequins or something I guess
1:41 Behind balloon guy there's someone seemingly holding a head with sunglasses
1:44 Clapping crowd: Smudged faces with their glasses, and several hand movements are unrealistic - particularly blue-shirted guy with glasses in the middle. Also, balloons in the background have warped figures
1:46 Asian street with balloon billboard: Two weirdly shaped giant people on the tarmac, in front of the two white vans. The left one seemingly has a huge backpack and is running. The other one is twisting their legs and sort of seems like two people at first.
1:46 Red carpet with red logos on white: middle brown-haired woman has two heads, 2nd person from the right seemingly has no body above their legs - but or they're somehow enclosed in the red/yellow/grey balloons. There's also a camera on a fence pole facing the crowd in the middle, which is odd but arguably possible.
1:46 Red carpet with black buildings and sky: Smudged faces and middle woman has destroyed face
1:51 "She toh an dresall arid see ham miung sudcers mity" and other nonsense magazines. Main poster moves with the zoom like it's a static image edited on top of the video.
1:52 1st close crowd: Most of the excited crowd isn't looking at the famous Balloon guy
1:53 2nd close crowd: Striped man (top right) has a hand coming out of his mouth. Woman (top left) holding warped blue phone has 3-4 arms and her head on her left shoulder. Warped hand (left) under black hair seemingly warps into two hands. Arm behind balloon guy turns into rising woman.
1:54 Sunny-sign balloon crowd 1: blue jeans woman (left) claps an extra arm into existence
1:56 Sunny-sign balloon fence crowd: woman with red plaid and blue cap (front right) has 3 arms
etc.
Of course, that doesn't take away from the amazing feat of it actually making sense and that it can come off as "flawless" to people paying attention
This is absolute *balloonery* .... 🎈
“why is everyone moving in slowmotion and what is going on with their hands” thats a great joke

An explanation of how these videos are being made would be great. To calma and reassure artists instead of causing panic.
Artists are not toddlers. Their panic is a personal emotional failure not something the rest of us, including other artists, need to coddle away
@@olivetree9920 I can see your point of view. I like to take actions that can positively impact other people's lives. When I talk about artists in panic, the idea of showing the making off, is trying to show the use of AI from another perspective. Maybe, that could help.
