For those who have problems Getting the big worms attention, aka doing enough damage for him to aggro on you, dig along the path of the boss for part, that way you can run with him and not being slowed by the slime... Removing the slime before hand doesn't really help cause when he comes by he droppes slime puddles... Trying to stop him by digging a hole doesn't work neither ...:(
@@OriginalRyan Yeah at the time i fought this boss i just only realised i could make bombs.. And i used my bomb flowers for some good food items... So far i only used the bombs with the hive mother... But maybe later bosses aswell, dunno how many more there currently are
i found that if you use traps it does some huge damage i used 60 traps and about 10 bombs and killed it without taking damage. the best way to use the traps is pre placing them and make sure to place them right after ghrom passes by you to give you enough time for setup. also do be noted that you will lose your traps but if you want a super easy win this is the way to go you could even cheese it by just using traps alone it might take 80 to 90 traps to kill ghrom but all you have to do is just direct ghrom at the traps and it will be dead in no time. one more thing is if you set up your traps right you can cheese ghrom without even moving. all you have to do is pre place enough traps down and wen it comes around it will just run over them tell it kills itself.
Absolutely! I've seen the trap setups for Ghorm as well as Glurch. Funny that they still allow the setting of traps against the bosses, but hey it is Super effective!
I just did this earlier today. I waited for Ghorm to pass by, laid down 60 spike traps, and then stepped off to the side to wait. They took off almost half his health, but I didn't realize the damage would make him target me. Luckily, I'd found a musket in one of those abandoned rest areas in the ruins, and I had plenty of spicy tulip salads for movement and glow. I just ran around in circles shooting at Ghorm and only got hit once.
Great video. Straightforward, great explanation, showed what items you were using, and yet still concise. And a chill personality to boot. Good stuff man.
Did you guys try the slime sword? it slows him 41% it worked like a charm for me, You can craft it on the first engine. Also, i think that sword its made to counter him, just quick tip! good video :D
That's a great idea! I always forget about that sword. I crafted it & just placed it on a pedestal lol. I love that there are so many different options for defeating the bosses. Also, thanks! 👊
Thanks! The first fight is always the hardest because you don't really know what to expect. After you recognize his attack pattern, it makes it a much easier fight.
Yeah, spike traps are effective, but for *cough* cowards *cough*...ugh, excuse me! 🤣 I'm just kidding! They work really well & definitely make the fight easier! 👊
I've used drills quite a bit & most of the electronics. I'm testing drills on nodes to see how much ore you get depending on the amount of drills used & the time it takes. Electricity is a bit trickier due to the different switches available, but videos coming soon on ALL of it!
@@OriginalRyan the thing is you also need some other equipment since you maybe need to go into meele with it. while spike are place them and just watch.
I get that, but you're going to get that better equipment anyways so why not use it? It's personally more fun to fight it similar to the dino boss from Legend of Zelda for me! Droppin bombs & trying to dodge a giant worm is more fun to me. 👊
Well, thanks for stoppin by! This game is Core Keeper! It's similar to Terraria & Stardew Valley with a lot of exploring, mining, crafting, fighting, and treasure hunting to find out why you're in this strange place & how you can (hopefully) get out of it!
@@GideonionI just started playing this game for the first time yesterday, i completely forgot about this comment lmfao. And this boss happrns to be exactly where im at. Crazy coincidence

So far, Ghorm is the only one I used bomb on. The others haven't been needed or seemed useful for.

@@OriginalRyan have you tryed using traps on ivy yet?
i have not found her yet and wounder if it works as well as it did on glurch.
I haven't,but I've heard they don't work as well because she's much tankier than Glurch. They basically broke right away lol.

Much appreciated BlamingBuddha! We'll be diving (pun intended) into the Sunken sea videos soon to showcase everything it has as well.

It's more like a big grub than a worm.
I wonder what its adult stage would look like.
With Core Keeper, who knows? Would it just be bigger or bigger & more dangerous? 🤔
Great how to! The detail you go into really helps. LIked!
Thanks Mark! Always appreciated! 👊
@@OriginalRyan no problem
oh man i grinded mining tin so hard to make a tonne of traps to stop him... to watch you do it like that so fast.... ahhhhh lol nice job

Way to slay! And not a single Carl was harmed in the making of this video. 😎
No Carls here, only things that want us dead for no good reason!
I just made 50 spike traps and killed him like that and a few sword hits.

Muchas gracias por la ayuda!!
Al final terminé con el Boss con Bombas + Ataque de hacha a dos manos.
¡Agradable! ¡Las bombas son realmente útiles en esta pelea! 👊
Great video!
Thanks!
to maximize this strat use feather to dash so not get hit
If you've got it, sure!
Way easier use the spike traps used about 50-70 more or less one shot him. He was the easiest boss kill i did
Seems to be the most used method! 😆 I just liked using the bombs like in Legend of Zelda.
@@OriginalRyan haha yea bombs are fun but beats running around. And have you figured out drills and what not?

@@OriginalRyan ah was just wondering I got 2 drills on copper and have 128 over a few hours
Rumor is that fewer drills yield more ore, but more drills yield faster production. So, kinda testing that out.
i have a better technique btw: put A LOT of tin traps on its way....and GG :D
That is a method... depending upon if you have a lot of tin at that point. Just easier for me with the bombs, it's not a terribly tough fight.
or just eat fish for dont get slow by slime gelly
Absolutely! There are accessories that prevent that as well, but depending upon someone's play time, they may not have that ability yet.
Thanks man
Just use Spikes it cheaper and easier
Bombs are easy to gather & cheaper to craft. Only slime & bomb peppers as opposed to using 1 tin bar per spike trap. Either way works fine though!

@@OriginalRyan King Dodongo (Ocarina Of time´s second boss)
That's right! Also the second boss from the original Legend of Zelda! Dodongo dislikes smoke was the hint lol. 👊
Isn't Ghorm a boss in Diablo 3?
No idea, never got into any Diablo.
im just use spike easy
It is easier that way for sure. I enjoy the melee though & mainly use the spike traps around bases.
noice
Thanks!
Anyone else get this recomended for no reason whatsoever. I have no idea what this game even is
