Thanks for all the kind comments! - I have to admit that the routing wasn't done freehand. I'm using a pin router. There is a guide pin underneath the workpiece that follows a template. I wish I was that good... ;-)
The floating router template thing (for shaping the inside arch) was a thingamajig I hadn't seen before. Very cool, and beautiful workmanship. It's the wizard, not the wand!!
A title that is a Mill Stone around the neck, but, I believe this man to be the best Luthier in the world. Not just because of his Red Special work, but because he could make anything, he could make a tin can sing beautifully.
you get what you pay for with a GUYTON. not just a guitar really, they are likely to become highly collectable. apparently good enough for brian may to use every gig he ever plays !
