Hi there, this is an excellent vid and really glad I came across it…can you easily access the place? I’m looking at areas to do a photoshoot at and this is definitely top on the list, do you think this would be allowed there? Obviously not on area where it’s keep out etc…but just the area where able to wander around.
This is pretty impressive, love to see Ironworks and the disused railways! Incredible to get in and around the place, thank you for sharing with us, always interesting to discover, new fan!!
It's great getting to look around this place. Not been for a few years, but you can easily spend a day here and still not see everything. The buildings you weren't totally sure what they were.. that's the old brick kilns.
I did see your video Urbexy. Great 👍 Your right tho.. U need a a lot of time to properly explore the place. I’m sure I still missed a few things. I wouldn’t mind flying the drone over it again. There was a small loch or pond in amongst the trees. Kilns ah.. thanks for that, wasn’t sure. Thanks for watching 👍
@@LOREandEXPLORE When I was there I only got the drone airborne for a few mins before a hawk appeared. Had to land before either the drone got totalled or the hawk got injured lol. It is a brilliant place though.
Its a tragic scenario for them . I do hope they find a way to Preserve the museum and railway. There are aspects of the site that are abandoned within the brick works and iron works that’s are not railway related . Also abandoned tyres from a old go carting venture years ago. The video has no influence on the current development of the site. And I do hope they keep the railway part of it running! Fingers crossed 🤞
@@caledonianrailway1233 The abandoned tyres to the far right of the railway museum, were used as part of a go-karting course sometime around 2004.. maybe later.

Please come back on an open day, buy a train ticket, spend some cash in the gift shop or donate to help preserve the railway.
