You did an awesome presentation of the County. I was born and raised in Angels Camp owned and operated a local business in the City, I can't say enough about this presentation-----GREAT THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Excellent presentation! My late mother and her parents knew the Raggios, Stevenots, Tryons, and Carleys. My grandmother befriended one of the Stevenot daughters at the California State Normal School (now San Jose State) in about 1900. My mother spent many early summers helping drive the Zumwalt (and others) from Altaville/Angels to the summer ranges around Folger Peak and Highland Lakes. My mother was a pal of Walter, "Wat" Tryon. Charlie Tryon would send his dog to the Sierra Railway ROW to pick up the afternoon paper tossed from the return trip of the "Tri-Daily," as it left Angels in the AM and "tried all day" to make the return....behind #30 as she recalled.
I grew up in jenny Lind. I didn’t realize how lucky I was to live there as a child. My favorite memories as a child was exploring old mining sites with my father. Living there definitely gave me my love of history.
Damn it I got gold fever again. Thanks for the exciting video.
