I'm not much of a drag racing guy but I must say these cars look really awesome and sound well tuned/ well presented, a really a high class street drag event.

The red half car lol is a Holden 1 tonner hq-wb, very popular in 70s 80s as a trade man’s ute.
Ford have them aswell in 2004 onwards till 2016.

I got asked to cover it, then I hand over the sd so there editor can use footages for promotional on Facebook.. I do a bit on my Chanel to help aswell. It’s not like a discovery thing at all or trying to be.. I just follow the car scene around and try being as much action as I can to TH-cam 👍🏽🙏🏽

Nice save? It was a cluster fuck in which no cars were damaged due how badly both were driven.
The HR was pointed dead on to the camera so if hooked up it was launching straight into the right lane. As it turns out his throttle control was was so ordinary it never made any road speed.
The XT broke into less wheel spin and it all started going wrong because he counter steered into it whilst simultaneously getting too far out of throttle which allowed the rear to grip up but now he's turning left because he got too much steering angle still in it and this is where PANIC begins... Not knowing where the HR is he reefs it to right and realises he's now headed for the inside wall so reefs even harder to the left to the point it crosses lanes and rotates in the grass. Nothing about this was lucky or nice.
