Love the fact it's tank less/maintenance/problem free, shwr., w/privacy & portable toilet, cooking options, pass thru kit. easy care/clean! no $ listed, but I think the base price was reasonable, too!

This would have been great 45 years ago. I'm too old now.
All you young healthy folks, this should be the trailer that gets you out of a tent in the winter.

This is great tear drop design. Terrific balance between providing a pleasurable outing, but not needless frills and overhead. Love the no sink. Love the removing the cubbies that are too small to really hold anything and provided more head room. Love the electronic system with the inverter. I've been imagining my ideal self build, and it's almost exactly with this in mind (but I'm imagine the Bean team can do it much more competently)

Maybe the aluminum cnc guys and engineers could come up with a design for racks to hold the water tank a few inches above the rack out sinks . They mount just like the descata mounts , gravity feed after one or both tanks are lifted once at camp ? Maybe a place to carry extra O2 when that trip requires?

Well outfitted unit. A couple of things…it seems an off road trailer (less access to shore power) should have the solar option as a standard item to extend battery life. Also, why do away with the front window? The solar panel could serve as protection for the window and then be moved when camping.

There's a big difference between camping in dry cold, and wet cold conditions - especially after a long day. Here in the PAC NW I have several friends with van conversions that use either Truma or Propex heaters. After a long day out in marginal, or poor conditions (most of the winter), they come back to their rigs and get gear and bodies fully dried out in a couple of hours - with no danger of asphyxiation. Today's campers are getting better at blending fair weather luxuries with fowl weather functionality. But most trendy manufacturers have focused mainly on big tires, articulating hitches and solar panels. This Bean Stalker is one of the best I've seen to date. But for 4 season use in cold, wet climates - give me a good heater to dry body and gear, so I can do it again tomorrow! Thanks Bean!! ; ))

All of our trailers, except Stalker, have a plumbed propane system and we offer the Truma VarioHeat and it is fantastic(quiet and efficient)! Part of the design criteria for Stalker was to reduce manufacturing cost without sacrificing construction( keeping one piece molded fiberglass shell). Eliminating the propane and water system saved manufacturing costs. Unless you are camping consistently with night time lows in the 20s or lower, I think you can get by without a forced air heater in Bean. We camped last weekend in Stalker in the Unitas and it was in the mid 30s and it was raining( you can see the mud in our IG photos) and we did not miss the heater. We used the Electrowarmth T36 12V blanket with Thermostat control. It is efficient at 6 amps and I had to get up twice in the middle of the night to turn it down. it also dries out moisture and heats the air in Bean. Is it as nice as the Varioheat System in our other Beans? No. Did we suffer without it? No. If you are a wimp, like me, and you are not going to camp if it is in the 20's, you can get by with a good 12V blanket.

Thankyou for the deep dive and walkthrough. Way outta my price range but well thought out and executed. It would be nice and useful to connect/daisy chain that outdoor inverter powered receptacle to another one inside the trailer. Just a thought. Love how basic yet functional that galley cooking area without holding tanks and that wok looking cooking vessel is brilliant. Well done Team Frijoles!!

Great walk thru. My favorite is the simple galley. I don’t want a sink or the capacity to “hold” water with the trailer. That is a headache for us. I don’t even need a stove. I have several. I don’t like cooking close to everything anyway. Really like the options for frig/cooler. Can a kayak be carried on the roof racks? Do you hear complaints about claustrophobia? Thanks again.
