I really like your designs and layout efficiency. My only feedback is, once you spec one of these guys out, you're in really nice 5th wheel territory. Outside of overlanding, its hard to justify.
5th wheels are built very differently than a trailer that can handle the rigors of off road use. Bean should be compared to other purpose built off road trailer where its price compares favorably. Bean is built to go where others cant.
@@mark-di5pf as was indicated by my overland comment. Still doesn't justify the Cost vs. Features because it has a 2k suspension and welded steel frame.
Is that the only difference? What does a Redarc battery management system cost? What do lithium batteries cost? What does that huge front box with rack out cost to manufacturer? What does a custom suspension with airbags, compressor, custom trailing arms and Fox shocks with reservoir cost? What is the cost of composite walls, floor and a one piece fiberglass shell? I get it, it is not worth it to you. You are probably better off in one of those wonderful Elkhart built 5th wheels hanging out at the KOA. It is worth it to someone who does not want one of those Elkhart gems and gets out to places you will never see in a 5th wheel. You should Google "teardrop trailer" and see what page Bean show up on. That will give you some indication of it's and popularity in the market.

There are many great portable toilet options and privacy solutions.
How insulated is it? Can I use it to sleep in ski hill parking lots?
I doubt it. Well if you dont have any water then maybe. You wont be able to shower. Maybe you can store water inside the trailer but youll have to get dressed before using the kitchen if you have to go outside. I dont see why you couldnt brew coffee inside tho.
Who sells Beans near Atlanta? And do you have a southeast rally or are you coming to the south for an expo? Would love to check them out in person.
