Both tickets included 2 check-in and 1 cabin bag. Total cost 900 CAD or approx 54,000 INR. Traveling to India via US is 40 to 50 % cheaper. That difference is small when you travel from Canada to Europe vs US to Europe which can be explained with high taxes at Canadian airports. This shows how much Canada ignores India, how bad relations are between these two countries that they don't even have broad open skies agreement like India has with US.
