Sehr gute Vorstellung.
I have an older short one of these in 50lbs. It is quite a bit more wobbly in both directions than yours. You have to almost be as careful stringing it as a horn bow. It's nice to see that has changed. Mine has really really nice draw, and is very fun to shoot. I forgot to mention after 10 shots mine likes to go out of shape, so I have to keep messing with it.
This is not their regular packing. Regularly, they put the bow in a gray or black sleeve with one string, and into a cardboard delivery box, that's it. No carrying bag, no documentation or guarantee (they take the production date stamped on the bow as reference for guarantee purposes; they barely provide information), no spare string (even if you ask for it for its price), no colorful decorative sleeve whatsoever. Obviously they are just doing a misrepresentation through your channel and review videos. The bows are the best I have tried so far though, thats for sure.
How does it compare to Nawalny in your opinion? I’ve heard that the sinew on that biocomposite is, quote, “made of bulls testicles”. And the siyahs are held in place with hidden screws (one guy who broke it saw that).
I had a suspicion that this bow might get 30 points :) Now all I can do is cross my fingers and toes that my name might be drawn out of the hat hehe. Nice review. Incidentally this bow is extremely accurate in terms of its design features compared with historic examples so there’s another five points!!
Hey armin. I also recently got a grozer biocomposite turkish bow. However when I string it the bow does not bend evenly. Even after letting it settle it still is not bending evenly. How do I correct this. Is the bow supposed to be that way?
I was under the impression that Csaba used real horn on his biocomposite bows and real sinew ,that basically the only difference between this and the historical composite bow is that he uses modern glue epoxy resin .
I am pretty sure he used to use real horn, on his earlier composite bows, I vaguely remember reading something about this latest biocomposite and he mentioned that it was a secret recipe of some sort. If I`ll find the article again I`ll let you know.
A long time ago he used real horn, but he never used sinew in the traditional layering way unless you ordered a far more expensive traditional composite. Fairbow in the Nederlands bought one of his bio composites and cut it up to see what it consisted of - I kind of remember it was a mix of powdered sinew and fibreglass. Grozer threatened to sue when Margen Klomp of Fairbow exposed this, but backed off when Margen challenged him to do so.
I want one of those so bad I can almost taste it! Pretty sure this is going to be my next bow. You need to stop reviewing more nice bows than my bank account can handle :)
do you ever use balls of fur or any other "silencer" to reduce the noise/ impact on the string? also I'm afraid to not use a "wrist guard", and also I would love to learn the right side thumb grip and twist. do you have any recommendations on how to learn this technique? it makes sense to use your right eye and a right arrow together, unless of course you're left eyed, and/or left handed. Hello Armin, I absolutely love watching your videos the format etcetera, I am Native american. I build horse bows pyramid n flat as well as long paddle n short paddle bows. I’m running out of true native american designs I know there is more. THIS QUESTION IS HUGE!! I know tha i can not only be the one that have a hard time telling things apart. My very first bow was a grozer turkish bow ten 12 years ago. I see Turkish bows with string bridges as well. The question is, what are some of the differences to look for as bows fall under assyrian, manchu, n lots of the bows that i review. N the difference between how that is used by the bow. Does my question make sense. In the end most have a similar shape except the yumi which i have to own one day black striped even though i didn’t warn them, o have earned a lot of eagle feathers which are given in acts of bravery n honor. English long bows were recorded at over two meters, crazee
I think every region developed their own bow design and they tried to maximize the performance depending on the application. Major difference of asiatic bows is that some have a string bridge (contact siyah) some not
yeah, my kittle Osmo pocket is raging and battery does not last long, so I tried insta360, but audio was too bad. So for now I use my bigger sony @6400
Thats very long to wait, what bow did you order? if it's his lvl 3 bows made traditionaly the old way i can see a few months but eight? Thats a bit too long of a wait.
I have just received a note from Grozer that my bow is ready, and waiting to be painted. That is after a month and a half after the order was placed. I paid for it yesterday, 520 eur because of the custom paint job I had ordered. All communication from the start was done by Email, based on the data provided on their website. So far, everything was up to expectations. Of course, I hope this will be further affirmed, when I bring it shooting to our parcour.
Hi Armin, can you tell me where you order this bow? I have found a few websites.. But they have some issues and I would like to buy from Grozer direct if possible. Thank you
@@ArminHirmer Thank you Armin. I wish it was that simple. The Grozer site has a ‘stock’ button, but no ‘order’ button.. The stock button takes you to ‘Nomad Bows’ but there is no stock of Biocomposite at all. There is also the site ‘Grozer retail Program’ but you need to buy min 5 Bows.. There is another site ‘Classic-Bow.Com’ which has some Grozer Bows.. But on many there is no option to choose weight? And they sell in $ so I presume based in USA. I am wondering if you just got in touch direct with Csaba and ordered that way?

There is no artificial horn used for these bows. Mr. Grozer writes: Biocomposite laminated bows. New technology. Actually it combines the laminated, the TRH laminated, the TRH Extra II laminated bows. And to some extent the extra III bows as well. The bows made by this technology consist of the following materials: the middle layers of wood, the inner layer of pressed horn, while the outer layer of pressed sinew plate. These two layers are glued to the wooden plate by modern glue and the glued layer gets a fibre strengthening. Due to these biocomposite materials and the modern technology these bows are faster then the simple laminated bows. They are appreciably soft and without any resonance when drawing. These bows give almost the same shooting experience than a hornbow and even their appearance is similar, although the biocomposite bows are flatter.

Major difference of asiatic bows is that some have a string bridge (contact siyah) some not
Yes, another dream bow😍

@@ArminHirmer Was going to ask the same thing, it looked really good in this video. :)
Very pleased with your explanation. Can you please inform how to buy same . Any link please ?
link to Grozer is in the description box
oh my god... that's a beauty! seriously that's pure art
where are those ottoman arrows from?
The arrows are from mamluk archery. Sungur carbon arrows. But I think Armin refletched them. They usually come with 5" parabol or shield fletching.
Wow... whatta beauty!
How long did shipping take for you? I've been waiting for mine for 8 months, and counting..
Thank you
Hi the link is in the description
@@dumalucky sending him an email could maybe work?
@@dumalucky keep checking. He has a bunch for sales now. The long Turkish version tend to go fast. I got myself a Tatar bow. Similar design similar siyah. Just more C shape.
@@LifeisGood-ye8rl Hi, I just bought one. Thing is I am in the UK and before we left EU the vat was charged at source..Grozer bows are still the same price to UK buyers , so looks like I will be paying Vat twice!
Beautiful bow
There is no artificial horn used for these bows. Mr. Grozer writes:
Biocomposite laminated bows.
Processed horn, is what I meant
