I'm praying (🤞) A1U doesn't give up on the countercade market. Not all of us have the space for the larger cabinets, nor the cash. These little guys are perfect for small spaces like apartments or family rooms and college dorms. Hoping for Burger Time, X-Men, and possibly Star Wars some day.
I think A1UP will definitely keep making these. I’d imagine they sold a ton of these especially over the past year. A Burger Time would really be cool and maybe they could include a bunch of other Data East classics on it.

Both X-men and Street Fighter 2-player countercades would be great.. If they added a few other Konami beat’em ups like Sunset Riders to that X-men it really would be amazing. I’m looking forward to seeing their next countercades. 👍
I received the Pac-man countercade as a gift this past Christmas and now I am addicted to collect as many as I can. So far I bought Super Pac-man and Ms Pac-Man brand new for a cheap price. I also have Galaga coming in a couple of days. I’m going to go broke buying these lol.
My favourite channel for all things Arcade1Up. Good honest opinions without all the drama. I live in Australia and had to import the Turtles Countercade as it was never released here. Shipping was half the cost but I had serious FOMO and no room for the 3/4. Don't regret it one bit. Keep up the great work Jason.

I love my countercades, I hope they greatly expand this line. It’s smaller size is a great way to fit more games you love in your space. I just beefed up my Galaga 88 little guy with some Happ buttons🤘
I’m definitely hoping they expand this line also. It’s nice to be able to move these around and play these wherever you want in the house. Your Galaga 88 sounds awesome with the Happ buttons, were they easy to install on there?
@@3rdFloorArcade It was very simple to swap the buttons themselves out however the Happs were considerably longer than the stock arcade1up buttons so I had to remount the speaker to the bottom of the cab to make room for them…similar to it’s placement on the two player countercades and drilled a new grill pattern that mimicked the one one the front of the cab. The female terminals on the wires needed to be changed also to accommodate the larger spade size on the new microswitches. I’d love to swap the screen at some point too with one that doesn’t have the wash out problem.

We have a pretty similar collection. We both have Marvel, NBA Jam, MKII, Galaga 88, the black Ms Pac-Man, and Pong. I have TMNT, Centipede, and Frogger, you have Galaga, Space Invaders and Pac-Man. Totally would pick up a Killer Instinct countercade, and would like to see a Street Fighter countercade that isn’t super limited edition. I’d prolly also buy a golden tee in this form factor as well. Be neat to see a Defender (with the defender control layout), and some of the other games they had in the gen 1 cabs in this format too (1943, ghosts and goblins, rampage, final fight, strider, etc). I have a bunch of the 3/4 scale cabs but I like these minis way more than I should. :)

Nice collection u got there, out of all the countercade the NBA JAM intrigues me the most since it’s my childhood favorite growing up so I’m buying that one, I would get the marvel but they don’t have marvel vs capcom 2 which is a bummer, mortal kombat? I get bored easy with that game, the NBA JAM countercade is on sale right now for $129.00 at Amazon it’s a steal! 👍🏼

I admit that Ac1up improved greatly on the countercade cabs with each passing itaration, especially with the games lineup, light up marquee, and overall quality of the cab. Also to note that you have an impressive countercade collection so far Jason. With what you have showcased here, I wouldn't mind picking up specific countercade cabs for myself now with what goes into them. Hopefully they have a Killer Instinct and/or MvC2 countercade cab in the works in the near future. Looking forward to the next video that you'll post on your channel!!!

Thank you Nick! I would check Best Buy online or Amazon for the best deals on the countercades. Now is a good time to look for deals with all the Black Friday specials. I used to have the Rampage machine but sold it a couple years ago. It was a first gen A1UP so it wasn’t that great of quality. The games though are fun on it.

I think the best countercade to date is the Marvel Superheroes with MVC, The Punisher and X-men vs Street Fighter. It seems like Arcade1up usually releases the bigger 3/4 scale home arcade versions first then about a year later they do a countercade version of the same games. So I would expect to see Killer Instinct, NFL Blitz, X-men, Simpsons maybe at some point in the future.
Is there a neo geo countercade with all metal slugs ? Final fight countercade ? What ever happened to DJ BOYS ? does arcade1up have dj boys at all in countercade or full size or does anybody ? Thanks. Anybody knowledgeable please reply soon.
The MVSX is a table top unit that comes with 50 Neo Geo classics on there. It’s a little bigger in size than these A1UP countercades though but I highly recommend it. Unfortunately there’s no Final Fight countercade.
No leaks or rumors of a SF countercade coming. They did a limited edition Street Fighter called the Dim Mak edition a couple years ago but I’d like to see a new Street Fighter countercade for sure.
It’s a really tough one to find at this point. Probably Marketplace or EBay might be best options for Space Invaders since it’s been out of production for awhile.

Did you put suction cups under the table top games so they won't move around while playing the game?!?
@@2REAL4MOST no they are pretty good on there own since they are pretty heavy. Unless you’re playing hard on them, they don’t move around too much 👍

There is companies that specialize in shipping forwarding. I think it cost about $30 us.

Oddly enough, that 1 player TMNT countercade was interesting...but sold out quickly on Arcade 1up's website.

It would have been ideal if Arcade1up used a 10" screen instead of an 8" on the Mortal kombat and others. I think nowadays 8" is small.

It’s a really tough one to find at this point. Probably Marketplace or EBay might be best options for Space Invaders since it’s been out of production for awhile.

Does street fighter have a countercade
They did an extremely limited run Street Fighter countercade about a year ago but that’s it. I’d imagine 2023 will bring a Street Fighter countercade.

How can I get the them
A lot of them are available at places like Target, Best Buy, HSN, QVC, Walmart etc. Some of the older ones like Space Invaders are out of production.
