Three things 1 what an amazing video I would love to see more of and some awesome grades 2 that I honestly felt like the espeon was better than a 9 but still not a bad grade and 3 I feel like I used to want a psa slab more untill now you convinced me beckett is better
Thank you! Yeah, I think it should’ve gotten at least a 9.5, but that’s just how it goes. For me, I get that PSA is probably the most popular option, but Beckett is a close 2nd. Many collectors have a lot of respect for Beckett grades, especially the higher grades. In the end, I’ve just never liked the way PSA labels look, and since I want to be able to enjoy the cards in my collection, I went with the one in the top three that has (imo) the best looking slab. Man, I’ve grade with PSA once and had great success. I’m getting ready to submit to BGS but now I’m on the fence about it. I really thought you had a chance to get at least 10 on the blaziken, MAYBE a black label.
9.5 is fantastic probably a psa 10 based on standards. I wouldn't second guess your choice though with beckett. Psa sells higher I'm still unsure why they're grading service has been absolutely horrid on consistency.
I think if you graded your card to PSA, the card with a value of 9 would be a 10.. because PSA is not as complicated and calculated very much in evaluating pokemon cards.. unlike beckett.. that's why I think the graded card in PSA is from beckett.. many famous youtubers grade their cards in PSA.. that's just my opinion..😁
It’s definitely very subjective. For trying to get the most value out of your cards, many cards would do better at PSA, but there are a lot of cards that get more value out of Beckett. For me, I just think PSA slabs look ugly, so I prefer Beckett for that reason since I’m grading for my PC.
@@LegendofLuke I hate the look of PSA slabs. I love CGC cases and the blue label but would love them to make the number pop a bit better. BGS is labelling looks more quality but at the same time looks old fashioned. I have 2 VSTAR Universe Ultra Rare cards Giratina & Arceus that I pulled from 3 boxes and I'm debating where I grade them. PSA I think will give them a 10 but CGC & BGS will probably give them a pristine 10 or 9.5 and not get the Black Label or Perfect and that will make them a lower valued card even though its probably the true grading. I seen pokerev get his cards back from PSA and like half of them were clearly off center and got 10s. Kind of makes me want to crack open my Poncho Pikachu that got a 9 at CGC with 9 centering, 9.5 corners, 9.5 edges, 10 surface and submit it to PSA. But then I'd have to look at an ugly label and case. Thanks for the video. Keep making these videos please.

Same they seem to be just as popular as psa, but cheaper and the slabs seem a bit clearer!

Yeah they grade tough. But in the end, I just like Beckett slabs better than PSA.

Psa is worth more once graded but beckett comes to my local regional show I much prefer to just drop off my treasures

For people trying to flip cards < Psa since 10s are easy. For true collectors who like collecting and appreciate accurate grading < BGS.
