some dudes have all the luck. like not only do you get to play disc golf for a living, but you met a super hot woman who guess what, also is a professional disc golfer. like i cant even find 1/4 of that.
That’s not what I meant, I regularly follow her twitter and she always talks about practicing and how hard she is working and it’s good to see that she is making progress and her hard work is paying off
You guys are absolutely fantastic! Big thanks to everyone behind the scenes, as well as the ladies up front! There will never be enough Jomez Coverage! Thanks Again!
Awesome coverage, production and graphics by Jomez Pro, and love the commentary by Zoe and Paige! Exciting to watch these ladies killin some serious disc golf.
Volunteered to spot on hole 8 and ended up getting to watch an AWESOME round of golf from the entire field! Loved getting to see my home course on Jomez!
The quality of this coverage really is incredible. It's easy to take for granted since we watch professional sports on a regular basis, but the camera work, editing and commentary is top notch! Really great work! New subscriber here!
Every time I watch video of anyone playing, I always want to go play that course. Also love watching video of pros playing courses I play here in Minnesota. Excellent coverage and commentating.
To all of the people always panning for super long holes I think this video on hole 1 just proved even some of the best in the world struggle on what some consider an easy hole. Holes like that have their place in disc golf even in tournament play.
disc golf, much like ball golf, is very much an emotional game. you can intellectually understand how a certain pin position plays and correct for the wind and your lie and even execute physically one hundred percent perfectly but sometimes a disc just doesn’t fly how you expect and it rattles you for the rest of the hole. getting that mental piece down solid is what separates the park league champions from the tour pros. it’s something that everyone that is even remotely serious about disc golf should be working on as frequently as they work on their form and disc selection.
Awesome to watch and I love the chemistry between Zoe and Paige. One thing I would suggest, is that Zoe stop referring to Paige in third person when she’s sitting right next to her. I always love the way Big Jerme says “Look at you, sinking that!” when Nate is sat next to him. Again, that’s just personal preference - other than that, it’s top work as always
Was just about to comment along the same lines... the commentary overall was great. Just made me cringe everytime she would say "Paige" instead of you or just letting Paige speak for herself
Good one to go back and watch. Good for the newbies as well. You get to see Kristin in her early US tour days, Hailey in her infancy, and Hannah showing some real playing chops. All along side the consensus best in the game, Paige Pierce.
ZoPa Commentary... you both should be commended for making through half a round w/out a single zinger about Hannah having Paul on the bag. The riffs, they await. ;) Sweet coverage!
Having played this course many times, Paige's shot on 5, even though it was in the woods, was a bomb. Sometimes you can scramble there with an overhand for a birdie chance, but it is better to be a little short and left to hit that approach. Great coverage!
Paige and Zoe with some outstanding commentary, watched this while my daughter was in the room, she stopped what she was doing and watched the whole thing with me. She could care less when I watch the men's rounds lol. Well done ladies!!!👍🏆
Whaaa Lady McBeth throws the Atlas too? Thats my only ace disc I'm a chump :D Also insane how much better Hannah has become from those early Champs vs Chumps. Bonus seeing Paul caddy.
It's a comfort/habit thing. I honestly don't know why I do it myself, but it just feels right since I've been doing it for so long. No real strategy to it, just preference.
its a habit.. When we all practice, we hold a second putter in our hand so on the course during a round its more comfortable to putt how we do when we practice.. which is with a second putter in our off hand.
The atlas is a good disc just they never put it in a good enough plastic. if it was not overmold and was in star it would be more popular. The nova stole the show
Great to see the pros play a course I've played a half dozen times or so. I wish I could throw their lines on most of those tee shots, but I did chuckle at how #3 beat them up, too. That's such a pretty and short hole, and so dang hard! I've parred it once and bogeyed or worse every other time, including a few times playing dubs. It looks so easy -- just a dead straight line less than 300 feet -- until you throw it.
You mean the device to listen to audio through? My guess is she's listening to something. It is possible she's just going for a fashion statement and no audio is flowing. Most likely, she's doing both. 😁
I am among the many who are most interested in watching the lowest rated player on the card. Initially surprised she is not Discraft but thinking Innova gives her more options.
This coverage is very well done, thanks Jomez. But seriously none of the Finns came to this event!? Henna Blomroos' worst finish all year: 4th. Eveliina Salonen did finish worse than 4th. Once. In her first event in February, when she was 6th. Feels like a lesser competition without those two. And yes, while it's the United States Championships, Kristin Tattar isn't American as aren't several other participants. Are they injured or have the sponsors failed or what!?
Blomroos is sponsored by Prodiscus, a small finnish company. I think as they are really young they might have just started college/university. It's a real shame they are not competing here.
@@backhandok Finnish school year is well under way at this point, but no major exams coming up. Pretty sure you could get approval for a week's vacation for this good of a reason. Athletes do in other sports.
I don't know why Henna and Eveliina are not there, but as for Kristin, she is on an American tour together with other Estonians Silver Lätt and Albert Tamm. They're all Latitude 64 players, so I guess it was easy to organise and fund the trip together. The Bazooka has already been in the picture and now you can see Silver here caddying for Kristin. So yeah, I'm guessing the sponsors failed the Finns.
They surely got invited and if it's about money, they only needed to ask and the Finnish Disc Golf community would have been happy to arrange a fund raiser for a good cause. Would have loved to see them both here!
Great golf. Cool Paul’s caddying for Hannah too :)

I think hole 3 is better for that type of idea. A simple shot with no risk reward and all mental game.
