I agree with everything you said, and I am a Fuji shooter. The summit was light on all the specifics you mentioned. But the exciting thing for new buyers is the downward movement of GFX prices. This is not so good for existing GFX owners who might want to upgrade and sell their existing GFX bodies, unlike the upward price of secondhand X-series cameras. Of course, the gotcha is the price of GF lenses.

They really need to release a 500mm f/5.6 for X-mount. A 300mm too. The lack of supertelephoto primes is a huge hole in x-mount that hasn't been addressed for years.

I agree with your comments, but I think the hype end is good for its target user who is not a pro and do not need a pro camera.
As for the XT50 film sim dial, once again for their target user I think a good move, also could make a good holiday walk around camera.

As a Fuji user I think Fujifilm needs to address its problems with it’s software updates for its x series line before releasing new cameras and let’s see how much better the tracking is on the gfx camera for moving subjects

The 102 sensor seems basically the same as in 2016, which in itself might not be bad. Processor is upgraded, Fuji played around with base iso, more AF points and AI = better AF + simulations. Video is castrated in comparison to 100 II, for upselling.

Are Fuji Fanboys really that sensitive? You bent over backward for them. I shoot RAW, and I have used the film sims on JPEGS, but I do not see the big deal.

ALL fanboys are over sensitive. Remember the Nikon ones losing their minds when Fro didn’t fawn all over the Z cameras? Canon and Sony FB’s are just as bad. It’s all quite comical watching all the groups get their shorts in a knot.

Well the pricing of the X-T50 is just way of. To expensive especially compared to the X-T5

Fuji flopped again.
Should have discontinued XT30ii and release XT40.. it’s an XT30ii but with fifth generation processor like the XS20 with Reala Ace.
Or XT50 chassis silver only, ISO dial instead of film sim.
And then release XT50 at the next summit with a 3.69 EVF and WR.
All fuji did was protect the XT5 line because they didn’t give the XT5 the XH2 EVF
