I was lucky to have wonderful in-laws. I try to be the same with my own daughter in law. We may not always agree, but I would never be mean or disrespectful to her! After all, she and my son love each other, and are fantastic parents to my grandchildren. I would respect her for those things alone even if we detested each other. Thankfully we get along fine!
