‼Please use caution when using the oven‼ Music: Pixels Musician: Jef Also, you do NOT have to use the oven. This method works very well with air drying too. I just use the oven because I'm impatient. 😁
Fun fact: at 200° C or above, baking soda starts to transform into washing soda (sodium carbonate), which is much more alkaline and has a slightly different texture. Due to how thicc that bricc is, I guess you would have to bake it for at least 3 hours to have it completely transform into washing soda.
You are THE BEST for making this video 😭 May god bless you and your family. This helped all of my friends grow there channel....we all used 3 packs of backing soda hehe 😜
@@APowderyMess thank you so very much..my first try at the waiting way didnt work..to soft..and I waited days on them🤣than managed to mess up the video I tried to edit..haha lesson learned..but I love your channel and thank you so much for the how to Biden and answering my questions ❤
Just what I needed at the moment!! I have been surfing the net in vain for this tutorial... thank u so much for making one.. I have two questions plz... 1. Which colors do you use? Name of the colors I mean... and 2. If I air-dry it, I let it be in the mould only? How do I take it out of the mould without breaking the block? Thank u so so much already 💓 💗
I dont remember the name of the colors you can use any color though. Air drying just wait a couple days then put a tray or plate and top and flip it over. It should fall out in one piece
@@APowderyMess What type of colors are these though? Are they food coloring or do they have a name as to the type? Or are they regular watercolor paints?
This is a very old way of making these. Air drying is just as effective and it also is better. Using the oven turns the baking soda into a washing soda. I'm not too familiar with the scienecey part of that thought. But if you still want to use the oven i did it at 200°
I suffer with PICA I would chew it. I still do when im stressed but the chunks are so relaxing to crunch on. The taste is salty, weird but oddly satisfying. Im about to dump out.over 30lbs tho. I wanna quit chewing it Its tough tho
Thank you so much for this tutorial, I'm trying it out right now and will tape and upload it when I'm done. :) Edit: They turned out great!! Nice and crunchy 🥰
Was wondering, what does it smell like when it's baking? Only asking because I plan to do this at like 3 AM and I don't want my dad upstairs to wake up due to it producing some kind of aroma or burnt smell xD
It really depends on how big or small you make it and how much water you put. I made a big one not long ago using this method and let it air dry and it dried in about 3 days.
@@APowderyMess sooooo whats tha coloring for? Is It just for visual effects? Kinda interesting and relaxing watching this 😊 awwww you seem like your relaxed doin this. Anyway stay safe from this corona mess and keep having a relaxing time ❤

I don't have a dehydrator, so I will need to use a regular oven. At what temperature should baking soda reforms bake? I'm impatient too 🤤🤤🤤
