- An SSD works with the iPhone if you shoot in Prores LOG for videos and ProRAW for photos. I wish it supported the normal HEVC videos 😥
So, here’s what I used (here are the product links linktr.ee/migsg, it should save you the hassle):
1. Magsafe ring (should be magnetic)
2. a short flat USB C cable (should have 10GBps speed)
3. Samsung T7 SSD (any could work)

I did the same thing. It’s a great setup. I also put a MagSafe receiver ring on the other use of my ankle battery bank. Work wonders.

I was thinking of the same thing since all the companies prefer you to use their cloud for storage. Its much better and convenient to have your sd card than the cloud.
My Samsung Note 20 Ultra record in 4K 60fps and even 8K 24fps. iPhone has a lot to catch up.

Yeah the t7s are frikkin incredible. 1 gigabyte per second speed. Consistently. The ssd does heat up a bit tho but its still awesome

using this for my laptop and ROG Ally SSD. I really didnt want to use velco but didnt want the SSD hanging around but i didnt even think of this
