DIY hot tub surround from Trex composite deck boards

    @trex decking was used. Clamshell basic
    Cortex hidden fasteners and plugs
    Hot tub size is approx 90x90
    Removal front step for access.
    Pressure treat lumber for framing.

    This is awesome. Thanks for sharing. I am wanting to do something very similar to my new hot tub, but I am not finding something custom to what I want to do without it being cheap looking or break the bank. This video has given me some good ideas.

    Hello. this is so helpful. Question: on those lower platforms, why did you double up on the front facing boards? I see one is narrower than the main frame. thank you!

      I made an error in the measurement and was short half an inch. Otherwise I wouldn’t need it. Sorry for the delay. I don’t check often.

    This is beautiful! I'm looking to do something similar with mine. How did you attach the deck to the ground (or did you) to prevent moving? Also curious how did you attach the two levels of the deck together? I think I saw a vertical board that maybe was screwed into both? Thank you!

      Thanks. The deck is very heavy. It won’t budge. No need to attach to ground. The two levels are attached by a 2X4 as you mentioned. Good luck!
