Yoga is a perfect tool given to us by our ancient rishis which is concentration and meditation. Not yogasanas . Buddha also practiced
Yoga for 10 years to get enligtenment. We see him sitting in padmasana which is a yoga posture. We have seen yoga postures in Harappa and Mehejedaro seals which are older than Biddha .Enligtenment will not come to us by positive thinking. Nobody can think positively forever. Single pole cannot exist .Talking about positive thinking is very easy.
So for self realisation yoga practice under a self realised yogi is good. Unfortunately most of them who talk of yoga or positive thinking are not self realised people .For more knowledge we can read Autobiography Of A Yogi by Paramahansa Yogananda which fulfills all our thinking on yoga.
